Great food, priced reasonably perfect pub for summer, you can also pay £2 to give the Bowling on the green a go, great pub with great atmosphere. Dog and kid friendly also a bonus

Our pre booked walking party of 14 were served excellent lunch snacks from HUGE sandwiches on delicious granary bfead, to gluten free veggie risotto options. Good service and efficient staff. Bit of a 70's atmosphere.

We went to the Spinners this weekend with some friends who live locally and my wife and myself were well impressed with the food here. Everything looks home made and no boil in a bag or straight out the packet at all. My wife had a lovely roast dinner and I had a wild mushroom penne pasta with some chicken and it was lovely. The service was a little slow at times but the staff were friendly and attentive when they came to the table. Would definitely go back as there was a few things on the menu that I'd really like to try. (oh and the black pudding and smoked bacon Croquettes were delicious as well.

Oh god, the food is so good here.... And the portions!!!! Seriously, you need to skip a meal so your starving when you come here the portions are huge

Lovely pub, menu could do with updating, but great selection of draught beers and lovely beer garden in the summer
