Had lunch and drinks here last week. Gorgeoys traditional pub. Staff were friendly. The menu gave a great choice ans reasonably priced. Our food came very quickly and all 3 meals were delicious. Home cooking at its best! We took our drinks to enjoy outside in the sunshine with views of the beautiful village. Will absolutely visit again! Thankyou!
Really beautiful pub in a gorgeous village. Great outdoor seating options and lovely indoor setting as well. Would recommend the salt and pepper beef loaded fries.
We had a gorgeous Sunday roast here. The food was hot, the portions were large and everything was well cooked. We had our two dogs with us, so we’re sat in the bar area. The service was excellent. We will definitely go back when we are in the area.
After we ran a 5k we came here for some celebration food and drink, it was some of the best food we have had in a long time. All the girls were so lovely to us, seems like a proper family run place. We had the fish and chips and the chicken special - we are originally from Liverpool but will be coming back again!!nnSophie was so lovely too! Big shout out to the diva
What a fantastic, true community gem of a pub!nnFrom the moment you walk through the door, you can tell this is a wonderful, close-knit establishment. The atmosphere is absolutely brilliant, filled with welcoming local people who always have fascinating stories to tell. It’s the kind of rare, proper pub where you can genuinely pull up a chair, strike up a conversation, and feel right at home making it a perfect spot to socialise with friends or meet the regulars over food and drink.The staff here are an absolute credit to the venue. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, and polite, always managing to make you feel valued. On top of the great service, the entire pub is kept spotlessly clean and beautifully tidy throughout.nnAs a dog lover, I also think their pet policy is absolutely spot on. While dogs are made to feel very welcome, the pub has a fantastic, sensible boundary in place, dogs are strictly not allowed in the dedicated food area and they aren't even permitted to walk through where people are eating. It strikes the perfect balance, ensuring dog owners can enjoy a drink with their pets while diners can eat in a clean, pet free environment.Whether you're stopping by for a quiet drink, a great meal or just some brilliant company, I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
