We have visited the George and Dragon many times. One of our favourite places to dine. The food again was excellent. It was served in good time by polite and helpful staff.We had a very pleasant lunch. On arrival, we were greeted by a pleasant young lady who was very attentive.

Food lovely but made aware people waiting for the table. There were 8 of us on courses, didn't think 1hr 30 was overly long. It just felt uncomfortable to be put in this position (for the second time on a Sunday)

Fishfinger butties were delicious but hardly anywhere to sit! It's a shame they don't open up the restaurant which is vast and mostly empty to the bar meals lot. Nice staff but won't be going again until they sort this problem out! They'd get 5 stars from me and others if they did.

We had an early dinner today. The George & Dragon in Great Budworth is beautiful. Great old interior. Staff were fabulous. Very curteous. The food was delicious!!! Hot plates. Service was fabulous. All great home-cooked meals with great fresh ingredients. We will certainly be returning.
