Just had our first meal from the Spice Hut, on time hot and absolutely delicious thanks guys.
Awful! I've had better supermarket curries than this. Bland and tasted like it's been cooked in microwave. The nan bread was raw even the mango chutney tasted like mud! A waste of £40 as most of it went in the bin.
I made a very silly mistake and accidentally put through 2 indian food orders, each from a different indian takeaway ! - one being spice hut. I explained what had happened and the lady that delivered our food was very helpful and understanding and she dealt with the problem quickly. They allowed us to pay for our order over the phone as we didn't have any cash, couldn't fault the customer service. Food from this place is really good too. Apologies for any inconvenience caused!! Will be returning in future.
Got a leaflet with £10 off so decided to give it a go, especially considering how well reviewed it was. The take away seems really well run. Fast efficient service, well organised. From the 5 minutes I was in the take away I lost count of the number of delivery drivers coming in and out. So they seem to be doing something right. The food seems fairly priced, portions are generous. The food was nice but nothing special. Mixed starter and chicken tikka masala were both about what you'd expect from an Indian takeaway. Lamb anahari was a new dish for us and was a little disappointing. I wouldn't be against using again but at the same time won't be rushing back
Never had a bad experience or meal. Dont order very often but always hot, fresh, very tasty food and quick service, collection or delivery.
Loved this balti. Chicken was so tender and juicy. Very impressed with all the dishes we ordered. Definitely back again soon!
Food always pretty good. But other week and again this week food was missing. Once we had rice missing. So we phone and they deliver it sep but obvs bit late by then. As compo few popadoms but no sauce. This week main meal missing, so i sit waiting while the family eat. As compo another couple popadoms. Wow. Not at all happy. Searched facebook and looks like I've moaned about this few times over the last few years. I wont be using them again.
The food has always been really nice and piping hot on collection, prices are about the same as any of the other local Indian take away. Ideally placed too!
After being recommended by a friend we had our first delivery tonight. Great food and service. Looking forward the next one already!
A long delay getting food but once received it was very good. Need to be more realistic with pickup times.
