Visited to celebrate a friends 30th birthday. My partner and I didn’t fancy a curry so we ordered some sides and bread to share instead. The amount of sides we order would have worked out to be the same price as if we ordered a curry each if not more. When the waiter came he told us we couldn’t order just sides we had to order a curry and that normally he would ask us to order a curry each but he would allow us to share one. We explained we just wanted sides but it went back and forth and I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of our friends, I understand it’s not a tapas style place but I should be able to order whatever I want off the menu. In the end we ordered the sides we originally wanted and just added a curry on as well, of course it was too much food. I wish I had walked out instead of giving in to ordering and paying for more food than I could eat but it was awkward and I didn’t want the confrontation. Definitely wouldn’t go back, the food was really nice but the staff were not.

Food was quite nice if a little expensive but the staff were arrogant and seemed like they would rather be back home whipping elephants

Best Indian in Rayleigh, always a great meal with fantastic service. The staff are all friendly and the food is always amazing. They usually try and tie you into either a 6:30 sit down or an 8:30 sit down so that thay can action 2 sittings a night. Try to pre book as they get busy, but a few times i have managed to walk in last minute and be seated. The costs is reasonable and the menu is very good. They dont deliver takeaways but they will cook and let you pick it up. Also parking is in Websters way car park which is a 5 minute walk away unless you get lucky and park on one of the few street spaces

Excellent Indian food at very reasonable prices. In my opinion the best Indian food in Rayleigh but I prefer to get take away as the restaurant can get very noisy. Need to move into the 21st century as they don't deliver or take card payments over the phone and you couldn't pay online either. Website is terrible.

Really nice Indian food, always look forward to going here. We go here for a church charity evening and always feel welcome and we'll looked after. Food is always good.
