Rating at 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. As an overseas visitor I was not aware that a parking app was required. Also as an overseas visitor my data connection is at best sporadic, and at this particular car park, practically non existent. So option 1, download the app, is a non starter. Option 2, ironically listed as for people in a hurry, scan the QR Code. After several attempts and complete failure to connect, move on to option 3 which is, dial the number. Again, as an overseas visitor, I have no idea what this call will cost me until I receive my monthly statement. An awful, long winded, automated answering service. Car registration has to be entered via keypad input. As do credit card details. Only 2 options given for parking duration, 1 hour, or 2 hours. No option for a day ticket. Absolutely awful experience. A lady who obviously parks there regularly and noticed our anger, informed us that even having the app is problematic, and was very sympathetic to our plight, although she wasn't in any position to help. Upshot, avoid at all costs. Park anywhere but here.nThe administrators of this particular car park are welcome to contact me and explain how a; this farce can be described as progress, and b; how it improves the lives of customers, because I have absolutely no idea.
Awful as usual with apcoa. Couldn't make it work if football is on you cannot get down to this car park as people flood out of the station in addition this causes a back up getting out of the park so you can't get down to it . I was trying to meet a friend at Depot it made me LATE for the film,. Stressed and I swore never again but that said...i Have used it successfully once after this without football and with the machine working. It just hard to set and know how much you are paying for. I think I paid overnight that said I have adhd and find things like this very confusing so I am always paying too much for everything in life one way and another.
Worst app experience ever. Took me half an hour registering my car + bank information. A machine ticket would have been significantly more convenient.
Took me half an hour to pay for two hours parking. Even though I had previously downloaded the app and my vehicle and banking details had been registered it was impossible to verify the payment through my bank. I had to uninstall my banking app, reinstall it and then eventually authorisation was achieved. I wouldn’t have used this car park but I was meeting a friend off the train, the car park entrance - exit is single file only, bit of a nightmare especially at rush hour. Very stressful all round.
Now I know why this is rated so low. It's a waste of your life going to this car park the app is complete rubbish. Find another car park.
