The app failed me, they denied my appeal saying I paid for another car park, so want me to pay £60 in the next 14 days. I showed them the payment of £3 on my bank statement, but it just says 'car parks' there is NO business or app name when I phoned my bank, just says 'Car Parks Kent' but I never went to kent on that day; I only parked at Lewes train station. I downloaded the app as requested and was told by the APCOA app that I had paid, but there is no record of it, just this strange £3 charged for car parks on the same day. It took me ages to register my personal details and bank details in the pouring rain as they provide no shelter. The app is faulty BEWARE!! The company lacks any grain of emotional intelligence or integrity.... all this for a £2.50 charge for all day Sunday!! Smells like a SCAM! why would anyone bother to avoid a £2.50 all day parking charge?? boggles the mind, but they aren't listening, just lusting after my money.
If I could give no stars I would.nnQR code didn't work.Then tried downloading what looked like the app but I ended up with a scam email from my bank.Please be careful.nnAfter 15mins of faffing we finally managed to park.If you don't have a smartphone you cannot park as there are no machines.
The station exuded timeless elegance, steeped in a profound history. Adjacent to it, an abundance of historical artifacts provided a captivating glimpse into the past. It will be great if there was a charming café where I could sit, unwind, and immerse myself in the surroundings, allowing me to leisurely appreciate the rich history that enveloped the area.
There is no ticket machine! You have to download an app or use a QR code. Difficult and frustrating. With that followed by the train ticket machine, we caught train with minutes to spare. Hopeless for older people or anyone who doesn't have a smartphone.
Pay and display not working at machine, app not recognising location. Several other people were gathered at the machine experiencing the same problem. Had cinema tickets at the Depot so no time to drive around looking for alternatives. Received a parking ticket and my claim was denied.
