When this company first stared theyou could do know wrong in my eyes they where cheap courteous and respectful. It seems the more they grew in size and reputation the thing that made them successful has been abandoned. For the most part I find since instituting the waiting time clause some drivers charge what they want and act as if the customer should feel privileged just to ride in theyre car. I find some of them to be arrogant pompous and dare I say borderline racist. Customer service has is and will always be the first priority for any business and I am sorry to say 24 7 falls way short of the mark !!

Waiting for us 10 minutes was a real problem. The driver was really not friendly. I would not recommend to anyone.

20 minutes late when booking via App 1 our in advance. Now we're late for work and loose half an hour's pay. Will use Newcarmiles next time.

Myself and two of my friends ordered a taxi from Taylors in Old Town to home, in particularly disgusting weather. We received a text message from 247 to say that they had arrived, and as we made our way out into literally the worst weather we have ever seen, the taxi driver was not unlocking the door, even though we were very clearly trying to get into the vehicle. Now I mean, tell me if I am wrong but a taxi driver service usually involves them allowing you to get into the cab. Once he finally rolled down the window he refused to let us in the cab with no explanation whatsoever. So we retreated back into the restaurant thinking it wasn't our taxi, but checking the text msg it said the license registration of the taxi outside. So we went back over to the taxi driver who just seemed to be having a great time chilling in his car, no worries or qualms and we showed him the text msg. He very rudely told us he had no jobs, and he wasn't picking us up. He clearly wasn't having any of it, and was perfectly happy leaving three women standing in the pouring rain. Calling up the company, I complained and was greeted with no apology and no explanation, by an unempathetic employee. He told us that matey boy had cancelled his service on his own accord.The same taxi driver pulled back up around 5 minutes later waiting for us. Needless to say there was no way we were getting in the car with that bloody weirdo. Do yourself a favour and don't order a 247 taxi.

Booked taxi using the 247 app. Get message saying to get ready as silver Mercedes taxi due in a few minutes, then that it has arrived. I was waiting outside and the taxi had not arrived . Message on app says driver cancelled booking as no show. Had to call office to ask them to send another taxi, preferably with a driver that can read the map on the app that shows where to pick up the customer. Update on this: my next ride with 247, again using the app, went very well. To my knowledge, this is the only taxi company in town that has moved to the 21st century by having an app that allows you to book and pay a ride. Hopefully the incident described above was just a one off mishap.
