Recently moved to Southam and ordered our first takeaway here during the week which arrived within 10 mins which we enjoyed so much we ordered again, although took a lot longer the second time with it being a Friday. Both times it’s been lovely. Hot, tasty and not greasy at all. The salt and chilli chicken wings are to die for. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you
Just eaten Duck with Ginger and Spring onions and it was a bit disappointing. Duck was lovely but no slices of ginger in the meal at all. Most of the onion was ordinary onions with only about 2 spring onions in the food.
We only ever order our Chinese take aways from here and have done for at least 5 years. The food is always good and the staff are always friendly, they do get busy but they are clear with how long the food will be and they are prepared to make adjustments for you if you would like them.
This is my regular Chinese and it's really good. It gets extremely busy Fridays and weekends however they always deliver hot tasty food.Food: 5/5
Good chinese takeaway, I've never had a bad dish from here. Will return.Food: 4/5
Great food, they are always willing to change a dish if you ask, for example I don’t like onions so I ask them to leave them out and they are happy to do this for me. Their spring rolls are Amazing!
Food was lovely. And I'm a repeat buyer.Food: 5/5
Something dodgy is going on with this Chinese take-away! They wouldn't let me pay by credit card last night as I hadn't spent over £25.00 & insisted that they would only accept cash. This wasn't mentioned when I placed order in advance over the telephone. I suggested adding a few Diet Cokes to make the order value up but this was dismissed quite rudely as a 'different order'. I had to go out into the rain searching for a cash point. The food was pretty average & really not worth all the aggravation. Definitely won't visit again & would not recommend!
Very small portion sizes mains come in a rice tin foil dish.over priced will be using a new chinese from now on.Charge enough plus looking £9.50 for delivery..disgrace
Lesson Learned - Using China Hall Instead Opposite After continuing to use this place since my initial experience, I recently visited to order food - but the regular young female was on the phone completely understandable so I left without ordering. 10 minutes later, I called again and said, jovially, that I had returned after noticing how busy she was with telephone orders earlier. Big mistake ! She became defensive, rude and stroppy - as though she'd been personally insulted. I just turned on my heels and walked out. Fast forward three weeks: having quietly forgiven her disgraceful rudeness, I called there this evening. The reception was hostile, but I still ordered. During my wait for the food, a colleague of hers joined her at the counter. It was clear that the past encounter was being conveyed to her colleague. As I waited for my food, I became suspicious that all might not be well - due to communications between their service counter and their kitchen. Upon receiving my order, it just didn't seem quite right - somehow ! I left the premises and put my order into the first public litter bin on my short walk home. Sometimes you just get an intuative feeling that something's isn't quite right. It cost me money - but I have not eaten something which I doubted ... so it's worth it. Sadly, I most certainly can no longer recommend this place. Customer service is everything. I have experienced appalling standards here and will never pester them with my desire for food again. Good riddance. On the up side; across the road is China Hall, which is a much nicer place to visit. The staff are always happy and the kitchen always looks very clean. The food itself is excellent . A far better choice than patronising a rude jumped-up
