South Shields was once a bustling town. Now it's not so good, a great number of shops in and around the town centre have closed. The town centre was supposed to be getting a much needed revite, but that was some years ago and we are still waiting. But if you like visiting shops that sell used clothing. This is the town for you.
All equipped metro station connected to local bus, train to Newcastle City, close to ferry service between north and south. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Famous Sandhaven Beach within walking distance of the Station. Lifts and Disability access facilities provided. Last stop for Yellow line on the this side of the Tyne.
Great beach good pubs got the ferry to north Shields good day out good metro links plenty of shops and restaurants we will be back

Its a nice place but spoiled by crack heads and feral youths
