Nice little station the entrance and ticket machines are above the two platforms and there is a news agents on the right as you go in the entrance, once going through the ticket gate the right hand staircase is for the platform to go further on along the line and the left hand staircase is for the platform to go to south shields town centre

Chichester Metro Station provides Metro Trains to inbound to South Sields Town Center and outbound to Newcastle, North Tyneside and Newcastle International Airport. Regular trains run every few minutes making it a convenient system. This Metro Station is within a few minutes walk of South Tyneside College and The Marine School.
