Excellent service from Colin. He is a true expert and ensures that any product he offers is perfectly suited to you and your needs. I recently returned for a very minor amendment to a pair of boots I bought from him. After 6 weeks' skiing, I had worn them in slightly and needed some more padding to prevent heel lift and improve comfort. Colin was happy to oblige and provided the same great service again. I have absolutely no hesitations to recommend Solutions 4 Feet and I'll certainly be returning when the time comes for my next pair of boots!
My wife has now purchased her third pair of ski boots from Colin. Every pair have fitted perfectly! Since getting boots from Solutions4feet, she no longer suffers from discomfort and pain in the toes after skiing for a couple of hours. The boots fit snugly and she can ski comfortably with ease all day. Colin is very knowledgeable, selecting and fitting boots that are suitable for the individual. My wife wears a size smaller and a much narrower boot since going to Solutions4feet. This has also improved her balance and confidence. With her recent purchase, Colin has fitted a pair with a higher flex and having tried them out a few times, she feels that this change is now going to help to further progress her skiing ability.
Excellent after sales service. Keith & Colin are both friendly and knowledgeable. My husband & I had Keith fitted us our boots. We have had to return to get them adjusted after skiing for a week in Europe. My husband has arthritis in his big toes and I have tricky feet from years of ballet. He sorted us out with a smile and lots of patience. I did end up having to go back to get them adjusted again but one of the most important thing to point out is that I can do that easily and they never make you feel you are taking up their time. I would pay for good customer service every time.
Highly recommended. My first proper fitting since my beginner days. Properly fitted boots have changed everything about my skiing. Colin clearly is a man who knows his feet. I wouldnt go anywhere else for a fitting. The 1 star reviews here are hilarious. Don't waste their time, and communicate promptly when there is problem like an adult. I've always found them professional and helpful.
Worst service I have ever received. Rude, aggressive, confrontational staff. My husband had his boots checked by Colin on Tuesday and was so impressed he called up on his way home to book to have mine checked today. After travelling for 3 hours to my appointment I was met with an aggressive welcome from Colin who told me the appointment was to buy new boots, checkups were not available on Saturdays and in September they had stopped doing boot checkups for boots not purchased from them. My husband booked the appointment over the phone for a boot check up and was not told any of this information. If he had we would not have made the journey and wasted our Saturday. I was blamed for wasting his time and losing a sale for new boots. Instead of doing the appointment, he said he would now have to sit there for 1 1/2 hours doing nothing. Colin looked me up and down, told me my boots looked too small, and made me feel uncomfortable and humiliated. I am in absolute shock as to how poorly I was treated, and blamed for their error in the booking process. If my boots were unsuitable I would have purchased a new pair. My husband was planning on buying a new pair too. I have never received such unprofessional service. I always raise complaints directly but in this case after the attitude I received it would be a further waste of my time.
Colin has the best knowledge on fitting ski boots and anything basically to do with a ski boot. You will get the best, professional advice that works for you. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
When I made my appointment, I mentioned in my email that I have limited mobility in the ankles and calves. I panicked when I arrived as that was one of the first parts of the assessment. There was some initial reluctance to sell me any boots due to this, but after some conversation about previous injuries and the work I had been doing with a physio to improve the range of motion we moved forward cautiously. There was really only one option for me in the shop, the Nordica HF rear entry boot, it was explained to me very clearly that this may not be perfect. I was completely comfortable with that. I had some modifications made to the boot and a custom footbed and I crossed my fingers that it would help me to enjoy skiing with reduced pain. I've just returned from 8 days skiing and wow! What a difference it has made. I can't thank solutions for feet enough for working with me to get these boots fitted around my awkward feet. I've not had any pain with the exception of some minor cramping at the end of some long flat runs, and even then the boots I have are so easy to take off and put on with 2 clips. As well as reducing pain, I can't believe how much easier it is to ski in well fitting boots!!!! Highly recommend!
Abyssmal service. They sold me boots which were too small, told me they would 'wear in'. In the meantime they gave me the worst, most painful skiing holiday ever. The staff are so arrogant and up themselves and do not listen to the Customer. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the response says it all - you are absolutely incorrect, it did not take me 7 months, I spoke to your colleague much earlier who just would not listen well before that. You two just think you are always right. I also don't take kindly to you saying the 'F' word when I was in your shop. You are a disgrace and in this case been totally outclassed by an insole.
Good website with a strong technical lean, although a little convoluted and key info not easy to locate. I got in touch to enquire about getting a pair of boots I had bought last year re-fitted and the response I received was abrupt and dismissive. Clearly the owner is busy and doesn’t need my custom which would explain his attitude, but it seems odd to drive off future custom in this manner. He concluded our interaction by telling me I wouldn’t be able to get this service anywhere else mid season, however I was able to find other workshops that could assist further away sadly and they were equally surprised by the attitude and customer policy of Solutions 4 Feet when I explained the situation.
Seem very knowledgeable and were very helpful. Didn't end up making purchase as the boots didn't sesm right for me discomfort in my right foot. Very honest and didn't try to sell me something that I wasn't totally happy with. Don't usually leave reviews but thought I should leave a good one as wasn't charged anything for an hour and a half of their valuable time. Much appreciated, would reccomend to a friend
