Wow!!! I’m so shocked to read such negative comments majority. I son is 16 and only started in September 22. His grandfather passed away abroad and I have been contacting the college to seek further advice on how he can fly out and not be effected with education. I had no response. I had to chase this up. My son was eventually withdrawn from the engineering course and no exceptions under extenuating circumstances was accepted. Very disappointed
Great place to learn as I'm doing my HND here, nice and fully equipped college and a university centre for higher education courses and undergraduate degree courses as well
Terrible of noticing your mental struggles
I attended the Woodlands campus from 2013 till 2019. The teachers are truly amazing Paul, Salman and Nada especially. The teachers really care, and they put every effort into the teaching. From the teachers to the security guards, everyone are very friendly. I really enjoyed my time here and would like to thank the college and its staff for making my time here so pleasant. Had a lot of fun on their Boeing 737 simulator and working on the Jetstream aircraft.
The person at the help desk was helpful. Large car park next to sports ground.
Went to this college around 2009 to study IT . The staff are vile here and the college isn't run well. Wouldn't recommend. Just because it's in Solihull doesn't mean it's a nice place to learn.
Thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to study through Solihull College. I am a remote learner, so cannot comment on the campus, however have had an excellent tutor Keri on my course.
It was lovely and every one was welcoming.
I enrolled on Functional Skills Maths level 2 course in September 2017 and it was the worst decision of my life. The college looks great on the outside but once you step through the main doors it's entire something else. The staff are very rude as well the security who man the front desk. I am Dyslexic so my learning needs were ignored when I brought up things in private with my tutor. She hadn't a clue what she was doing and how to be supportive to students with other solutions to ease their worries. Please do not come here, once you have made that mistake with these lot, it's hard to undo and nothing will get done.
worst experience staff were so rude and brought back my anxiety and depression to its highest ive since left but this place so much worst and stricter then a sixth form ?????? not being able to drink energy drinks ?? but also pushing the fact we are adults ?????? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.
