This is the worst University to have come across so far, I have applied for my MSc here late August for a January start and I have been chasing the admission team for each step. When students apply for courses they would normally expect updates from time to time but I have been chasing them for my application updates. This experience alone reflects the future of studying here so I am already scared and frustrated. The admission team clearly shows that they don't know their job and have to be chased. I wonder why this university exist with all these very negative reviews!
The University of Wolverhampton has truly exceeded my expectations as an international student. The diverse and inclusive atmosphere makes me feel welcome from the start. The faculty's dedication to supporting international students has been evident, providing valuable guidance through my academic journey. The modern facilities create a conducive environment for learning, and the university's commitment to innovation aligns well with my global perspective. Engaging in a vibrant campus life has allowed me to form connections and friendships, making my experience here not just educational but culturally enriching. The University of Wolverhampton is a rewarding choice for international students seeking both academic excellence and a welcoming community.
I enrolled in the online MSc. Organizational and Business Psychology. It was truly an underwhelming and unfulfilling experience. There are no live classes which I knew - ONLY short 3 minute clips of word-for-word regurgitation by professors about the same main points you'd see in the assigned readings. Saying they do the bare minimum is even an understatement smh. Additionally, navigating the course platform 'Canva' is tedious and it's interface looks elementary. Look, you're pretty much paying to do this degree on your own---no support, few engaging discussions and no thorough explanation in response to your queries. Persons who value their mental health and want to actually enjoy their program should steer clear from this university online at least. To make matters worse, they strongly discourage communication among students outside of the lesson discussion board, further diminishing a sense of community and social support. This university has NO business offering online courses and has only done this as a money grab.
Like several people in the reviews I started an online MSC in psychology here. To say the presentation of the information and the organisation of the modules and tasks was low quality would be an understatement. Students would contact each other each trying to work out what the hell the assignments meant, as they bore very little association with the teaching materials! I decided to stop after 2 months and I am glad I did so.
Terrible went there eary 2000s Grade Banding, sub par teaching. Luckily I challenged the above and amazingly my grades improved any issues insist your work is marked externally
