To be honest I didn't even wanted to give 1 star to this university because of the experience I have gone through. I applied for Mres programme at this university, they issued an unconditional offer letter, conducted Pre Cas interview and after clearing interview during CAS the university suddenly informed me that it has stopped it's Mres. Programme. So this whole process wasted my 6 months time and energy on preparing interview, documentation and funds. So my concern here is why university issue offer letters and conduct interviews if they do not have the course availability, why the university is wasting students time and playing with their future? Thik before considering this university as they do not have proper planning about the courses they provide.
Staff was amazingly attentive, supportive and helpful. I left with the feeling that I made the right decision to choose the path.
I applied here to continue a BSc course from the 2nd year, they accepted me and sent me an offer and had to chase them once the course started for the enrolment information as they did not follow up. This should have been a red flag.nOnce enrolled, I had an unexpected issue which meant I had to defer to September, communicated this to them and I was told this would be done for me by “next week”, only to have to chase them up once again as I had no further communication. I was then told I had no other option but to withdraw myself from the course because apparently I was too “far in”, making me liable for the course fees.nAbsolutely appalling and unprofessional, I would definitely avoid this one place.
The University of Wolverhampton is truly an amazing university and honestly one of the most underrated institutions in Europe. It’s a real hidden gem. The teaching quality, supportive lecturers, modern facilities, and diverse student community make it a great place to study and grow both academically and personally. The university focuses strongly on practical learning and career development, which really helps students prepare for the real world. I believe it deserves much more recognition than it gets. Highly recommended!
Quite frankly, I’m out of words to describe the genuinely embarrassing state of this university.nnThe lecturers are unsupportive, unmotivated and honestly, incapable of doing their job.nn3 months before the dissertation is due, there has still not been any ethical approval for it, due to the staff simply not understanding their own system.nnIn addition to this, the accommodation is “protected” by security guards who are inappropriate, rude, aggressive and incompetent.nnIt is never, in any circumstance, okay for fully grown adult male security guards to flirt with students. Especially when they’re old enough to be their father. It’s incredibly disturbing.nnIf you value your time, effort, money, safety and genuine sanity, do not go to this university.
