Really loved . Studying at Aston University has been a rewarding experience overall. The campus is compact but well-equipped, making it easy to get around and access resources like the library and labs. The teaching staff are approachable and supportive, especially when it comes to practical, real-world applications of the course material. Aston also has a strong focus on employability, with regular career fairs, placement opportunities, and links with industries, which really helps in building a professional network.nWould rate a 10/10
As an Aston University alum, I expected a basic level of support when applying for a postgraduate course — but my experience was deeply disappointing. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I received no meaningful guidance or communication. I even visited the campus in person, only to be told by reception that the postgraduate team is “remote” and couldn’t assist.nnEventually, I received a brief email declining my application with no explanation or feedback. I followed up asking for advice on how to strengthen my application or what qualifications were missing, but my email was ignored and calls have gone unanswered since.nnThis lack of transparency and support — especially for alumni — is unacceptable. I genuinely hoped to continue my studies here, but the experience has left me feeling dismissed and disheartened.
Nice, clean and functional with a contemporary design. The location is close enough to Birmingham to enjoy city life, but close to the ring road for easy motorway access. Theres a young fell about the area as its surrounded by a number of universities.nI wouldn't recommend the room service as my pizza was burnt, but the breakfast was varied and constantly replenished
I visited Aston University for 3 months and I really enjoyed it. The people are very nice and friendly. It has an international atmosphere. Lecturers are very good. The campus is beautiful, especially the lake and the birds. The location of university is great, it's close to city centre.
I completed my MSc in Health Psychology this year. I had a truly positive experience at Aston University, and I want to give special thanks to Dr Megan Jarman for her exceptional teaching and support though my dissertation. Thanks to her guidance, I felt more confident in my abilities and more inspired to pursue my goals.
