Gym is great, however staff are probably the laziest that I’ve seen, literally seeing the staff going into their office room, I’ve been knocking on the door multiple times as I’ve seen them going back in, to ask them about lost property but no one opened, it is as they didn’t want to work. It was a gym manager to be specific! Not the PT
If you're thinking of joining this gym: DON'T. I've been a member here for a couple of years now and i've noticed a serious degradation in the equipment over this time Pictures below. Equipment that fails or breaks, most recently the chest supported T-Bar Row is NOT replaced, and simply filled with an existing piece of equipment which isn't acceptable and is clearly a cost cutting measure. Attachments for cable machines are falling apart or have otherwise failed, and are now just down to bare metal on skin Tetanus anyone?, also pictured. I raised a few of these issue's with one of the PT's asking if the equipment that had failed were to be replaced and he was visibily angry about it and i quote 'they never listen to us, you think us being PT's we'd have some sort of say in the state of the gym and the equipment they provide, but they don't. This is one of the most expensive Puregym's in the country and the equipment is severly lacking'. He was clearly dismayed and embaressed that i had raised this - IF EVEN YOUR OWN STAFF ARE SAYING THIS YOU HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM. All in all i'd avoid joining this gym and pay the extra to go elsewhere - Not only is the equipment dated and failing, as other reviewers have mentioned it is horrendously overpacked at the best of times, it really need's to be seen to be believed. Queing behind 3-4 other members is the norm at peak times for a machine or weight bench. Overall a worn, over priced and uninspiring gym where your membership fee's simply disappear into the abyss of a CEO's pocket no doubt, with no re-investment to retain existing or attract new customers. This gym is literally opposite my house and couldn't be anymore convenient, but even that won't keep me as a paying customer anymore.
A very very good gym and one of my favorite Soho Gyms in London. Excellent choice of equipment, lots of free weights. Good selection of classes with comfortable large spaces and tons of natural light. The staff are nice and so are the friendly members. Sauna and showers are a bit small. As with all Soho Gyms do remember to bring a lock. Day, week and pay as you go available. If it's your first visit check if a free pass is available.
Good gym lots of sexy fit boys..Eqitment very good and modern. Plus great private trainers if needed.
Good Gym, with a good range of equipment and in theory good value for location/equipment, and some good classes if that's your thing. However, as many other people flag they do not limit the number of people attending which makes the gym often overcrowded. I have been a member since 2019, but have now decided to swap to a different Gym further from my house because it became impractical to only attend when it's not overcrowded generally before 9am on weekends, after 8:30pm on week days. They have added so much equipment to the weights area I suspect that the some of the weights racks are now dangerously close together and in places block access to emergency exits, emergency call points, etc.
A bit of a mixed bag. The weight machines are actually quite advanced and modern. I also liked being able to use the treadmills on the balcony overlooking the rest of the gym. However as other reviewers note it's too busy and - unlike certain other gyms nearby - doesn't have 24/7 access to smooth out the rush. I rarely managed to find a spare bench in the free weights area except on Sunday afternoons. Decided to discontinue my discounted corporate membership. If you can afford to spend a bit more each month and go elsewhere, do so.
Nice gym and knowledgeable trainer but the carpet needs a good vacuuming big time!!! I keep seeing the cleaners with a broom trying to clean the carpet. LOL the green fake area looks like it never been vaccummed so when someone put a mat on floor bring all the dust, lovely.
First of all, I did take a add on to my membership to have hydration drinks and the machine is at this day still out of order! I can't believe I'm paying for something not even working! Also, your air-conditioning vents are not cleaned or serviced for long time and as a result the air is not suitable for work out. It smells like dust and this air completely blocks my nose. Friday night it's closed at 10pm.
This gym is always insanely busy regardless of what time you go. The change room facilities are nothing flash and often smell bad. However, it is priced accordingly.
I will keep leaving bad reviews until i get the money of the resubs back. It is unacceptable that i go to this gym for years and because i stopped for a few months i am charged resub fee.
