Very patient people here, we spent what felt like hours walking around the shop sitting in a lot of sofas. Very patient when we came back the next day after ordering the sofa to change our minds. Took us through all of our options for leather and what each quality meant and we were really pleased with how much they knew about each item and how friendly the staff was. Ended up with buying the sofa and had it delivered and really happy with the result.
Come in to southport kew store monday 2/03/2020. Advised we wanted a 3 seater, 2 seater and the pouffe. Said I will be in with my girlfriend saturday which wasnt a problem. Come in saturday to purchase with my girlfriend and the couches have gone up nearly £400. Staff come over on the saturday and asked If she mention about the price rise which she didnt, he then offered to pay for the finance which is 0% anyways so wasnt gaining anything there but offered to pay the full amount at the price we received monday and the manager just wasnt bothered. Wont be buying from you at all, poor service!! Give someone a price and change it 4 days later when we agreed to come in. I even signed up to mysofology so she could send me a text to set a account up online. Not happy at all and manager not the slightest bit interested. Thanks for offering to pay towards the 0% interest that costs you 0% as it is
Walked into the store to see all the staff sitting on sofas chatting amongst themselves. ok can cope with that as I am not paying them! but a number of individuals deliberately avoided making contact so they wouldn't need to get up and speak to me. I held the gaze of the gentleman standing talking and could almost sense the deep breath he took as he knew he had pulled the short straw and was going to have to deal with me. Surely customers are the name of the name in a store? Felt either staff morale was very low as they obviously didn't want to be there or they were just very poor at their job. This was my first experience of this store and I won't be returning. Wouldn't buy from this store as with customer service so poor can't see the store staying open for long. Was made to feel uncomfortable and a bit of a nuisance.
I gave this a 5 star review for the shop staff but the complaints dept is terrible. We had a simple problem but the office don't seem to want to answer emails and I waited for up tp 20 minutes trying to phone. In the end the Furniture Ombudsman forced them to sort the problem out. If you live in the Southport area go to Stokers. SOFOLOGY NOT RECOMENDED.
On entering store we were approached by Garry who told us we were very welcome to brouse around at our own pace ,he informed us that with each couch or chair there would be a book with all colours and fabrics that each item could be made in just ask if there is anything you need to know . We made a decision went to Garry who proceeded to make us a cup of tea and sat us comfortably to complete the sale we cannot speak highly enough of him thankyou very much Garry We are so glad we went to Sofology in Southport .
Been couple of times to look around, first gentleman dave was very helpful . Answering all the questions we asked, then think his name was Gary was just as helpful .we eventually bought the suite . Waiting for delivery can't wait. So yes would buy of them again . Southport.
Shop ok, company was forced by Furniture Ombudsman to sort my chinese made chair problem. Zero stars.
