Such an enjoyable shopping experience thanks this time to Lysette and Harry . Smyths at Thanet has exceptional staff . We returned due to the remarkable service a few days ago by James and yet again were made to feel highly valued as customers .
Lovely shop and all but the poor lady on the till asked for help as there was quite a queue and the lady who I assume is the manager said no to having help because it was close to close and it’s just people trying to check out before close, it was at least 45 minutes before they closed when she asked for help and she seemed so flustered I felt bad. After leaving the store we saw the same “manager” outside smoking with another colleague whilst that same poor person on the till was battling the queue, just seemed a little unfair since the shop wasn’t busy at all, just a long queue and the way the management spoke to the colleague in front of customers outwardly saying “no” to help was not professional at all.
Came in today looking for Pokemon stuff and was helped by an amazing young lady named summer she was knowledgable amazing customer service
Popped in today to get my children new car seats for their grandparents car. The staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us from start to finish meaning we could leave knowing the car seats were fixed correctly in the car and ready for use. Really great experience
Its a store with literally everything you need except useful staff, 6 or 7 people queuing for service and all the staff just wandering about ignoring us. Otherwise its a great store with bargains
