Very impressed with the service. I needed a new headlamp which was a little difficult to get to and Frenchie was amazing! Very polite, pointed out I had a small oil leak and checked the water for me too! What a lovely member of staff. He was very happy in his work. I will definitely return when I need anything else done
Absolutely brilliant. They were sooo helpful, I would highly recommend them. They work as a great team, plus a large thank you to the young man who sorted out the wipers, fitted them and gave my car a free check. Nothing was too much trouble. Just wish more places could be like the team at thanet Halfords. 5 is not enough for them. Fantastic
Fast efficient service from enquiry regarding item, to payment and collection. Also refunded for an element of the order not needed without any issues. Good prices which compared favourably to other options. Very positive experience.
Went there children's bikes for Christmas. Wasn't sure on weight and suitability. A young lady assistant was absolutely brilliant and sorted out what I needed in minutes. Great service. Thank you.
These guys are always so helpful. I've been back a couple of times now as I find them honest and friendly, always happy to help. Well done guys, perfect service.
Most unhelpful people - Do not shop here, go get it done by professionals who actually deserve your money. Turned up at 7:30 this evening and needed a fuse changed for windscreen wiper and a dimmed bulb. The older gent said the younger guy was just changing something else and would help. We were told best to buy 2 bulbs by the older gent to make sure they are both the same, fine. Younger gent comes back in and starts getting the cash from the till and said he was getting ready to close so needed to get on with counting that. Were told to come back during the day for a fuse change which when you work during this season is not possible. Didn't offer to fit the lights aswell so decided to just put the items back and go. How people like this have a job is beyond me, no people skills, unfriendly, unhelpful. This is the last time I go to Halfords, my money deserves to go elsewhere and will no longer be using my annual vouchers with this company.
The way I was served at Halfords Thanet tonight was disgusting. Unfortunately google will only let me put 1 star. But it wasnt even worth that. The girl on the checkout served me with the most sarcastic and 'put on' attitude imaginable. I was nothing but polite and in return I got service that made me feel completely insignificant. Barely spoke 2 words to me throughout. When she realised there was a security tag on my item, she held the tag remover up, my partner then had to reach through the window with the item in order to remove it herself. Absolutely unbelievable!!! When do you go in a shop and are made to remove the tag yourself!? Then when she handed me the receipt at the end, she flapped her hand over, made me reach to get it and in response to my "thankyou", she forced the most false smile I have ever seen in a shop and did not say one word. Not even a thankyou or goodbye. Disgusting behaviour and that person seriously needs some training in customer service or instead get a job that doesn't involve dealing with the public . Will not be returning here again
Service okay, new staff member being blamed for mistakes with bill and mix up with name on bike. Had to wait extra 4days to get bike due to this. Then get told owned more money… and reason for not phoning when bike is not ready is because they had incorrect no. On the plus the bike is very good.
Appalling service, rude and extremely unhelpful. The member of staff in question, his title is apparently specialist Manager. I visited this store twice in the past week, and his behaviour was the same on both occasions. Clearly I will not be visiting again! Halfords need to send in a mystery shopper in order to understand these comments.unfortunately I have to give one star as it does not allow zero stars.
Useless staff with no interest in what I needed just trying to insist my bike was 'un-ridable' unless I replaced almost everything. So I rode my 'un-ridable' bike to a proper bike shop SP Cycles where they, not only fixed everything I asked for within an hour for £35 less than Halfords quoted, but also didn't need to replace anything that Halfords said 'must be replaced '. My bike is now as good as new and I am able to ride my 'un-ridable' bike to work everyday.
