Excellent service from Paul, he was very knowledgable about his cars and helped with setting up the road tax when I picked up the car. The car was also immaculate, after Paul put it through a full service, valet and had the scuffed bodywork parts resprayed.  I was also able to put a deposit down and pick it up when it was best for me, with a quick turnaround for the work done to the car.  All in all, 5 star service, will be recommending to everyone.

bought a fiesta from smiths a month ago.i arrived to look at the fiesta to none off the usual salesman patter or bull.he was straight talking and seamed genuine I took the car for a test drive. on purchasing the car  he even dropped it off at my house as I had no way of picking it up.this was a fair way from the garage to my home in shiney row. Never thought I would be writing this. Lovely bloke and couldn’t be more friendly and helpful at first but acts as if you are being awkward when the car isn’t up to what he’s advertised it as! Numerous issues since buying which I will say Paul did get my car looked at but not in a timely fashion and not without stress or repeated contact to address the issuesbut then asked for money towards repairs which to be honest is disgusting and against consumer rights Since sending him a letter advising of my consumer rights please ensure you look at this before and after buyingI’ve not been able to contact Paul to advise him that the issue that he didn’t fix after I had pointed it out within the first month of buying has cost me a lot of money to repair. Also took me nearly 3 months to receive the log book which DVLA assured me on different occasions they had received no transfer of owner. It was only after repeatedly asking Paul to do this that I got the log book.I would avoid this man completely headvertises cars that aren’t what they seem.  Be very careful in all honesty I would stay well clear!

Great customer service. Car was well priced and in great condition, there was a slight issue which was found during the MOT which was resolved in a timely manner. Definitely would use again.

I can’t recommend enough. I bought a Renault cleo last July time, which was in great condition and a great price for it. I don’t know much about cars so car sales is a scary place for me but they put me at ease immediately and were very trustworthy. The car is still a great runner 8 months on and this goes to show how reliable as a company they are. If I’m ever looking for a car again in the future I’ll most likely go straight to them to see what they have.

I have been helping a young lady search for her first car for the last couple of months. In that time I have been astounded by the awful and in many cases dodgy vehicles on offer. I wish we had found this dealership at the start, it would have saved many hours and miles driven. The 2008 Renault Clio we purchased was in great condition with only 2 owners. The service provided by Paul was nothing short of outstanding.  If I need to look for a similar vehicle in the future, I won't be going anywhere else.

To date I have purchased a Hyundai i20, Ford Focus, Ford Fiesta and a Mitsubishi Colt off Paul. All have been excellent cars and come serviced and with full 12 months MOT. Always a fair price and have never had any issues. Buy here with peace of mind and a very friendly service.

It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Paul from Smith's of Swalwell. 5 star customer service from the start.  Perfect non pushy sales and advice. Very knowledgeable about the cars he has in stock.  Providing help and support to my 18 year old daughter when she was buying her first car. Can't fault the selling experience and will recommend to family and friends.
