They were very very nice, efficient,  very informative, thorough, helpful, and went out of their way to give us recommendations on where to go sightseeing. We rented an Audi A4 because that's all they had available when we walked in looking for a rental car. They gave us such a sweet deal on it that we did NOT have to pay 01 cent on any damage to our because it a fully insured, and we did hit a curb while parking and the car did have some damage. So we were very very happy with the results. I DO HIGHLY recommend this car rental.

Rented a little Mazda for 4 days at a very good rate - having used Sixt before the process is just as good here as any other location. Very easy and quick to pick up and drop off.  Don't stress about the road it's on - the cars are kept down the street at some side parking, and when you come back you just have to mount the pavement and they'll take care of it. There are also loads of petrol stations nearby for you to fill up at before returning. We will use again the next time we're in town!

Great service by the team. My car was ready to pick up even earlier, clean and gorgeous. Extremely happy with the price as it was low season. Summer time it is expensive, but find one company which is cheap on high season. All in all, great value for money in my opinion.

Great team, great location, easily walkable from our location in Plaka. Drop off is easy, we were able to just drop it on the pavement in front of the shop. The car had a slight issue where the fuel indicator wasn't registering as full, so I feared a fine on arrival, but I showed them my receipt which was timestamped a few minutes before drop off and they checked the and saw the car could only take a few extra euro, so no charge at all. The person that inspected the damage was very thorough when handing the car over, as there were a few dings in the car on pickup, again I was worried I may miss one, but he had highlighted them all on pickup, and none had been missed when inspecting the car on drop off. Good honest car rental is always a great sign.

Very pleasant experience. The car was clean and in good condition. Staff checked the car with us before and after return. This is much better service than we have experienced at other sixt stations.

The car was high in km's, gearbox needs a service but other than the experience with car the personnel at Sixt is fantastic. The best support team to deal with.

Extremely happy with Sixt Athens downtown . Staff were helpful, polite and professional. We got a really good I think upgraded for free. The downtown location is central and convenient for pickup and drop off. Thank you for a great experience.

Rented an Audi A4. Clean car, efficient pick up and drop off. Only four stars because they don’t offer overnight drop off, so I parked the car nearby and went in the morning for hand off - wish had known earlier maybe I didn’t research enough but still would’ve made the same decision given how centrally it’s located

Be very careful of the up-sale they do. Almost always there is a issue and they offer an upgrade for an exuberant amount and mostly they do not explain it properly. Also, the web site is misleading. I pre-paid to rent an electrical car and when I was receiving the car I asked about the range and the helpful agent at the counter indicated it was 250 KM max without running the air conditioning. As I wanted to go out of Athens, this would not work. The up- sale started and the only availability was double the price. Advise: don’t rent and electric car and be careful of the up-sell. Also, be prepared to wait in line for up to 30 minutes at the check-in counter and then maybe 10 minutes to receive the car as they bring it from a parking somewhere.
