They mentioned they had an electric van and I was sold straight up! The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly, all the paperwork was straightforward, they were very accommodating I'd forgotten to make sure my utility bill I brought for evidence of my home address was less than 3 months old so they suggested I could email them an electronic bill which I was able to get pretty quickly, and the van was fully charged and ready to go! I shudder at the thought of how much the fuel would have normally cost as I ended up doing a few journeys amounting to about 50 miles in total I know that doesn't sound much, but vans aren't usually very efficient and have to move a lot more weight . The range on this particular van is about 90 miles depending of course on how its driven, which may not be suitable if you're moving house to Essex, but it's more than plenty for most uses. CV2 had a charge of £10 for recharging the van, but they were happy to waive that fee as I was able to charge it at home using our own charge point Type 2 connection and it only used 2% when I returned it. It probably cost around £3.50 for me to recharge it at home, though a full charge would probably get much closer to £10, so it's a reasonable fee for the energy - AND much cheaper than the equivalent in petrol or diesel! Did I mention they've got an electric van! I think it was about 3,500mm although it might have been 4m? in the cargo bay so its not a small van. Being electric it's automatic and soooo smooth to drive which is a bonus for taking helping take care of precious cargo. It also uses regenerative braking through the accelerator, so if you're planning ahead fairly well you can virtually drive just with the accelerator pedal and only use the brake when bringing it to a complete stop, or the rare occasion you need to stop very quickly... but then WOW you can stop quickly if you need to . Although it has some efficient modes which help encourage gentle acceleration, like all electric vehicles it's got impressive torque so there's never any worry you'll struggling up hills or anything. If you've got this far then I expect you love the benefits of electric vehicles as much as I and you won't be disappointed renting this van from CV2.

CV2 saved my bacon yesterday! After trying two other Nuneaton hire places to get a car on the day without any luck, CV2 were happy to hire me a brand new Audi A4 with only 13 miles on the clock, so I could make it to work. The team were great, everyone was efficient but made time for me as a customer, the process was simple, and obviously the car was brilliant. Will definitely use them for car or van hire again in the future!
Hired a van from 12pm Saturday and returned Monday 9.00am. Good deal as only charged for 1 day hire. Van was only 1 year old and nice and clean. Only issue was slow process to sort all the paperwork out . If you could go and give all your details prior to hire date it would speed up the collection process. That said I would recommend them and would use them again.
Hired the Transit low floor Luton van a lot bigger than the tail lift ones. Moved a 4 bed house in 3 trips. Great value for the weekend hire and deposit paid back in 24 hours. The staff there are amazing and helpful. Will use again.
Top Class Van Hire, Good Rates, Lovely Staff. I've used CV2 to hire a long wheelbase Transit type van on a couple of occasions. On each occasion, the van has been new, in good condition and easy to drive. Their rates are good, especially compared to the larger chains and taking into account the standard of vehicles offered. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledge. Sean and Anna were excellent when dealing with my latest hire. Will be back in future. Recommended.
Stuart and Hannah were so warm, friendly and professional. My daughter called to hire a van from this firm and they were just brilliant from the initial phone call, to collection and when returning back to the depot. I hired one of CV2’s new electric vans for the weekend and what a great choice I made. The van was spotless upon collection and Stuart went through all the controls on the van as this was the first electric van I’d ever drove. The young guy Alfie went through the paperwork with me very swiftly and the whole process was completed within 10 minutes from start to finish. I will definitely use these guys as my first port of call the next time I need a van
First time hiring a van, and CV2 couldn't have made it easier. Was after a medium, but they were fully booked so worth ringing well in advance if that's specifically what you're after. But they offered me one of their new electric long wheel base vans and not much more cost + £10 electricity charge. If you're doing anything less than 80-90miles they're perfect. The van was spotless when I picked it up and drove beautifully. The two staff members I dealt with - both over the phone when booking and face to face when picking up and dropping off - were friendly, polite and professional. Would 100% recommend CV2 for your van hire!
I desperately needed a van last minute for an hour or two on a Saturday morning of all times to finish a job. Rang around the local area, couldn’t get a vehicle until I was put in touch with CV2 and half hour later, I was down picking up an electric van priced for an hourly hire, documents all sorted and off I popped on my errand. Van dropped back before lunchtime closing, no need to faff obtaining petrol as the slight uplift in hourly cost covered the electric charging back at their depot. They have a range of vehicles suited to many business needs…..I won’t be going anywhere else other than CV2 in future. My kind of people….friendly, welcoming and chatty staff, excellent old school service just as it should be. Thank you both and see you again soon no doubt.
