Wow! After all these years this remains the best chipper around, I’ve been getting my chips, batter burgers and batter sausages here for decades. It’s nice to see this be a constant in Blackrock after so much has changed.
Great little fish and chip shop that also serves pizza and gelato. Lovely staff.Food: 4/5
Simultaneously the worst and most expensive garlic cheese chips I’ve ever had. €7.20 for soggy mush with all the chips completely stuck together. Anyone buying this again has too much money or no taste. Lovely staff though
I'm only rating the kebab tray, but the flipping audacity of calling chips, a breaded chicken fillet and lettuce a kebab tray, make it an actual kebab or take it off the menu, wasn't even cheap
Visited on a weekday around 4pm for fish n chips in the cafe. The food was a fairly ok price for the area and for sit-down service. A cup of tea was expensive for what/where it was. The fish and chips tasted very nice. Traditional taste. Would visit again for this. The waitress with the dark hair was friendly. It is a 3 minute walk from the DARt station
Just used the take away, the guy who served me was very friendly and helpful Vegetarian options: Had a lovely veggie Penne pasta.

Hadn’t eaten here in a long time and remember it as a great place. Sadly my memories were ruined by the absolutely awful food served to me recently. Chips seemed like they were days old and reheated until they were almost solid. Batter on onion rings etc was the same. Clearly no care or attention to quality since my last visit. Spent most part of the night awake regretting the food as it did it’s best to leave my body through whatever route it could find. Far far better alternative within manageable distance. Sad to see a once great place now so happy to serve below par food.
