Brilliant place, both eat in and takeaway. The lunch special is amazing value. Delivery is always prompt and eat-in service great every time. The best Thai south of Dublin 4 in my opinion. Having been in Thailand, the flavours are quite authentic seems they have Thai chefs unlike some other big local Thai franchise, and better value. Highly recommended.
Just moved to the area and wasn't sure of any decent takeaways. Decided to try this place and didn't regret it. Great food, fantastic service and the food arrived quickly. Delivery driver was a gent who kindly closed my gates after he left and was genuinely thankful of the tip I gave him well deserved!. Would recommend to my friends.
The food at diep is usually a good standard. Me and my family have ordered here regularly for years, a few times we had mistakes with our order but diep usually did their best to rectify any problem. However, earlier this year one of the delivery drivers took what I’ll describe as a personal dislike toward us. Delivering an order he became aggressive and verbally abusive which was a really upsetting experience and the lowest standard of personal service I’ve experienced. Before ordering he got annoyed on the phone when we asked to add a drink he said if we wanted a drink with the order we had to pay an extra delivery fee and place a separate order for a Coke Zero. Management apologised and because we’d ordered for so long we put it down to the driver having a bad day and we were assured he would no longer deliver to our address. Following this we continued to order he then began delivering again, two months later an item a main course was missing from the order when telling diep of the mistake the driver answered the phone and hung up on us eight times, made us wait three hours to receive the full order and again was aggressive and extremely rude. This time diep did nothing to redeem the experience and I’m genuinely shocked at the standard of customer service. To allow staff to be rude, aggressive, and just damn right mean to customers is beyond understanding. The fact diep didn’t respond to emails or complaints following this and continues to use this driver shows a lack of care. I’ve worked in customer service for years and no customer should ever be treated so poorly. Whenever there has been a mistake with our order we’ve always been polite and you’d expect the same in return. We will never order from here again.
Ordered a few nights ago, great food, great service. Delivery guy even met me half way up the stairs, appreciated that! Although, I got Coke Zero rather than Diet Coke, but hey, washed that curry down a treat.
Got 3 meals one being a Rendang beef. The Rendang was just totally boring. The beef was good quality and plenty of it but totally dead when it comes to flavour. Best part went in bin. Sad. I’m a fan of Diep. Back to cooking at home me thinks
I appreciate that they have vegan menu items, but the Diep vegan stir fry had no flavor. It was just steamed veggies and rice…no sauce, no seasoning.
I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with the sticky ribs. Overall quite disappointing for a meal costing 20 euro. The chicken breading was soggy and sauce was watery. The ribs werent coated in much sauce and were tough. One piece of the ribs was even impossible to even pull apart. Both items were also just about warm and got cold very fast. Just a point to consider when getting delivery Wouldnt order from here again.
After a slight mix up last weekend with our order, the Manager kindly said he would credit my account for the dish we didn't receive. I phoned tonight and placed an order for 2 main courses and they kindly didn't charge for either dish. Great customer service and food fantastic as always. Thank you!
The food is fantastic and it always delivers a consistent quality that brings me back! The Singapore noodles are especially good and I always look forward to ordering from Diep.
Quality of food is poor. I had Diep Sweet and sour, extra prawn and coconut rice, my wife had Singapore noodles. Wouldn't recommend. Go to your local corner restaurant.
