Best quality bakers in town, offering full range of cooked breakfast items, cake, pastries and filled rolls. The Parade branch offers a small inside seating area with soft seating, together with outside tables for the better weather. The only shop in town for 'proper' doorstep toast and butter, with a full range of hot/cod drinks. You pay for the quality but it's always worth it.

Simmons are a local bakers with quite a few shops in this area. They always have a great selection of different types of bread and lots of cakes. They also make fresh filled sandwiches and rolls while you wait and fresh coffee too.

Only went in to get coffee. Must admit they do a good coffee in there I'm extremely fussy so I'd give them 5 stars

Food is always good here. Always piping hot and quality is very good. Always have had friendly staff every time I've been. Belgian bun is massive and very filling. Only thing I would say and i would give it 5 stars if not for this but is it is a bit pricey and do charge for sitting in but I've never had a bad bit of food here

Great place for a ‘coffee stop’ with a treat. Yes it is expensive but the service is first class. Not for everyday but a great pick up opportunity for a morning snack or sandwich for lunch. The Simmons bakery is right behind the shop so on a local note this family business has evolved and adapted really well. Good luck to all involved. There are package deals available for 4 buns etc and a coffee + croissant. More of these and drop the prices and I’d give the fifth star.
