Was passing by Hatfield and decided to stop on the town center to get some food. Did choose Bebo Cafe. The place is nice, friendly staff and delightful food. Had grilled sandwich “Mediterranean vegetables with hummus” plus coffee and it was delicious. Well recommend.
Been here often. Okay food and good friendly staff very cheap, fine if you’re hungry and near otherwise go to Simmons right next to it.
Every time we come here it's a disappointment. The staff is really rude, never smile or complete orders well. The products are overpriced and small. We have ordered Frappes which state on the board that they are coffee drinks and on the picture they come with cream and sauce on top. We were provided with a drink without coffee, cream and sauce and paid 7quid for 2 small sizes.when asked about where the coffee, cream and sauce were, we were told all of those are extras. Which would bring the already overpriced drink to a ridiculous new high. Whoever hires these people need to do a better job and the manager need to look at some of these products. Each product should have a clear explanation below so that people know what is included.
Had been here before and always seemed very good, but on this occasion, first someone behind us in the queue was huffing and puffing at having to wait, pushed passed, despite the Comment I made about pushing got served first!! Ordered two vegan breakfasts, came after a bit of a wait with two breakfasts with eggs on it! When i complained about it not being vegan, was told we ordered the vegetarian breakfast, clearly not!! Got taken away and returned with pretty much half cooked sausages I have doubts about them even being vegan, some kind of houmas that tasted really off, and after 5 minutes some sour bread with packets or Irish butter!! Yes butter!! Come on really! If you have a vegan menu at least make an effort to know what one is! Shame because I often stopped by for a breakfast but after this shambles I don't think I will again!!
Stopped by for an afternoon tea for 2 today and all of the staff were really friendly and couldn't be more accommodating! Everything was really tasty and fresh, and the scones were lovely. I would definitely return again. Thank you team BEBO Hatfield for a great afternoon tea experience

** VERY RUDE STAFF. ** Customer Service was terrible from the manager himself. I requested to know the syrups they offered and asked for caramel syrup in my frappe and he seemed to zone out and then be weirdly confused saying I had already asked for a caramel frappe, which I did not. I just asked for a frappe and wasn’t sure on the flavor hence asking what they offered. He then went on to say okay you want a caramel frappe with caramel syrup. Due to the rudeness so far and the frustration he was presenting I just agreed this is what I wanted and apologized myself. Knowing I just wanted a simple caramel frappe. The waitress who then passed me my coffee done it in a very rushed way and did not smile or say anything at all. There Seems to be a lot of negative energy in the shop mainly coming from the people who work there themselves. I paid £4.00 for said coffee and it was quite a-bit of a smaller cup size then any other coffee giant like costa Starbucks etc. I will not be going here again.
Service appalling. Table left with last people crockery. Table was the worst with sticky feeling. Staff chatting away and not paying attention. Had to ask for cutlery twice.
Excellent coffee, lovely breakfast and friendly staff.
Great place to have a coffee and snacks. The staff are lovely, especially Emma, who is always in great mood and great with the kids.
