I always like to buy my glasses or sunglasses from a store rather than online, as I like to check the fit and style before making a decision. On entering the store I was greeted with a friendly smile, Ian the owner, he took me to the frames and suggested styles that would suit my face. I didn't feel pressured into making a purchase, and felt whilst being in the practice I was made to feel very welcome, offered a seat and even a drink. I loved the atmosphere in the store, and the huge selection of eyewear. I am glad I made my purchase on the day as it was great to support an independent family owned practice, I would recommend anyone needing anything eyecare related to visit Silverberg Opticians. Picked mine up today and love them. Thank you to the Silverberg team, I will see you again for my sunglasses soon.
I use Silverberg’s Opticians all the time and every time I have attended over the past few years, their standard of service has never wavered. A warm welcome is always assured. Clinically, the optician is excellent, thorough and reassuring. Today I decided on new specs and the lovely Colin was there to advise me on what frames would suit me. I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to all the team for their kindness and professionalism on yet another positive visit. I would highly recommend this opticians if anyone has never attended before. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Aged 39 and having never needed glasses before, I detected a noticeable decline whilst reading and undertaking screen work over the course of 6 months. After a full and thorough eye test, the team at Silverberg reassured me that there was no major underlying issue and that there were some minor issues that would be corrected by mid vision lens’. The prospect of needing to spend the majority of my waking hours wearing glasses seemed a bit alien but after consultation with the exceptionally helpful and friendly Colin, I was able to choose a pair of frames that I’m very happy with. The difference the glasses have made is enormous and reading is once again a pleasure. I cannot recommend Silverberg Opticians enough. Exemplary customer service!
Was informed to bring in a pair of Cartier glasses re the colour of lens. After waiting 1 month after expected date for collection, due to problems with lend colour. Ordered red , got pink! Then after returning to store, as advised told there was nothing they could do. Having spent prior to the£1100 pair of Cartier appx £3000 on a number of pairs of designer sunglasses, the assistant proceeded to hold glasses by the lens and left his fingerprints all over the lenses. I will never use this shop again. Never seen such unprofessional and disrespectful service and treatment to a customer who has spent a considerable amount of money with them. Left the store with the sounds of sniggering by the staff. Never Again. -1star.
We have been coming to Silverbergs for over 20 years. We know we are seeing a top class optician and there is a wonderful selection of glasses to choose from. Thank you Silverbergs, we know we are in safe hands.
After three other opticians declined to help me get my broken frame fixed or replaced in a timely manner, Silverberg opticians quickly and efficiently sold me a replacement glasses within an hour. Very impressed with the service I received from the kind gentlemen working there and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I have been a loyal customer for years of this fabulous opticians. I have tried others over the years but keep coming back! The service is always first class, professional, calming, reassuring and so helpful whatever the issue. Other opticians may be cheaper sometimes but the quality is excellent and great value for money. The post prescription support is so good which I believe is the best way to retain the business over many years. Well done.. in short ... I am SO Silverberg!
I purchased my Glasses Barton and Perreira recommended to me by the Amazing assistant Colin the service from this assistant was second to none. I have tried some other opticians but I always go back to Sliverbergs they are fully committed to their customers and I would recommend them to my family and friends 100%. Colin is an asset to this company his customer service is outstanding.
