Been going for years, but didn’t go for nearly 4 years had all my tests and needed an upgrade. The lady spent nearly 45 minutes helping me pick a pair, and she ended up picking me a pair out id of never picked, but I loved them. Picked them up just a few days later, and they were a bit strong so they booked me in for a retest straight away. Had my retest picked the new glasses up and had a small headache still when wearing them for long periods. I felt terrible going back a 3rd time, but they couldn’t have done enough. The gentleman optician ended up going though lots of lenses to get them right. 3rd time lucky, they wear perfect!!! They changed both my normal glasses and sunglasses on 3 occasions at no extra charge. Brilliant customers service, Brilliant choice of glasses & great prices. Can not fault one bit, thank you everyone.
Have been using this branch for years , brilliant selection of glasses great staff and very thorough opticians and excellent care and very good on pricing lots of designer options too
Very polite. Comfortable premises with seating and was nice and cool as it was very hot outside. I had help in choosing my glasses and they said they were ready in a week but I got a call after 2 days and very happy with my 2 pairs they weren't cheap flimsy frames and got a lot of designer frames that I loved so very much I love them and overall 100% a happy customer . Xx
Customer service at the highest level for me. I went there for my diabetic eye test which included a routine eye test due to a cancellation. Rob the owner represents the best in his profession, his humour mixed in with the most informative eye test I've ever had was a great experience. The staff have to be complimented, very attentive in all areas, retail at its best. 10/10
Made very welcome by all the staff and very thorough with my eye test. Good selection of frames and very reasonably priced. Have used this opticians for a few years now and would highly recommend. I had new lenses put into my old..best..frames and Millicans done a fantastic job. Always been 5 Star treatment so easy deserves 5 stars.

Good service friendly staff but glasses are expensive
Went there yesterday. Appo was 2:50 pm was going to be 10 min late. called and told I was running late and lady on the phone " If you are more then 10 min we wont see you !" Anyway no thank you and no please put the phone down. Came in I could see 2 middle ages ladies on the desk they both on the computer doing something. I went in seen by this lovely foreign Dr and I have been given eye drops which I did NOT know I had to pay usually I have certificate I dont pay for my prescription anyway ask this unhappy looking lady who never say please or thank you and never look at you face when you speak to told me finally these are not on the prescriptions. I will never use this branch again as I felt very uncomfortable whilst my visit. Hope manager does more customer service training and skills to the these member of staff.
I have been a regular customer here for a few years now. I was having trouble with my eyes and not really getting help from G.P or Hospital. I made an appointment at Millicans and they helped me and looked after me. Whilst there they also replaced the lens in one pair of Specs. Didn't charge me at all and helped when others wouldn't/didn't. Always a polite & professional experience. Highly Recommended. Thankyou
Rob Millican and his staff are excellent. Over the years he has saved the sight of many people in Prescot. He has a great knowledge of other things which can damage your sight. He is friendly and has a reassuring manner. He employs wonderful and very professional staff. I went to a large optician chain which I won't mention, and they only wanted to sell you designer frames. Millicans have their own range which you can choose from which have some really nice frames at affordable prices. They carry a large stock of designer frames if that is what you are looking for. I went back to using Millicans as it is the best opticians I have ever been to. It's nice to have continuity of care, and see the same customer service staff every year. I would highly recommend this opticians to anyone. It is an independent opticians who is able to compete with the large chains.
