Love this cinema and always choose this one over other cinemas in Ayrshire/Glasgow. Huge car park at both sides of the building. Lots of screens and bathrooms. Plenty to choose from in terms of snacks and drinks and the best drinks machine. The best part is every seat reclines and you don’t need to pay extra for this. Even with your chair reclined you don’t upset anybody behind you as there’s so much space in front and behind.
Systems are down so if you haven’t bought a ticket online stay away. Luckily we had. However as systems are down they can’t sell you popcorn or anything. They won’t budge and just accept cash while manually writing what’s been taken and sold etc. no human touch to offer the little kids bags of popcorn - it’s 10am it’s kid film time. Show a bit of decencynnHonestly what happened to human decency and what happened before computers
Seats and Screens are great. The move to self-service touch screens is terrible. Print off your own tickets, then watch as a member of staff runs after you to scan your ticket while trying to help people at the self-service screens.nnNot enough staff.
This is a very comfortable cinema. Unfortunately, the screening of the encore version of Swan Lake was interrupted just before the end of Act 2. There were several attempts to restart the screening. This was disappointing and unprofessional on the part of the cinema management.nnI'm sure it was just a glitch and would not happen at the next showing of a live event.
6/1/20 - what a difference. The cinema was spotless, the seats comfy, a spacious arena. The film was crystal clear through a 4K projector. A great experience. New photos added.nnPreviously - Visited tonight to discover the cinema in considerable disarray. There is a refurbishment going on at one side, and it looks like they are upgrading some seats to make recliners. However, the main foyer has not changed in a long time and looks a little dated now. A massive space that could be made more welcoming and attractive. The staff were friendly enough, and there is a good selection of snacks - but most cinemas have a full coffee concession these days and there is no reason why the main foyer could not be made much more attractive and experiential.
