Quaint old style cinema with comfy seats. Children are kept amused while waiting for the film to start in a soft play area. Ample parking, however the main cinema car park had a height restriction when we went. It wasn't busy so parking outside the adjoining restaurant, Oscars, was available
Great place to go with children if they prefer a quieter environment. Lovely staff and food. Only 2 screen compared to the Odeon in Kilmarnock that has 8. Have been a few times and the cinemas have been practically empty each time which makes for a great experience, having the cinema to yourself. Highly recommend plus great views of the harbour side on the way out.
The place is run down and shabby. Definitely needs refurbished ie table and chairs and carpet. Food very average and staff need customer service trading as some are rude and dour faced. Cash only which is ridiculous as I turned up with 3 young kids and only had card. Had to pile them back in the car and go to a cash point in town
Only came in to get something to eat.nThey have a large selection of gluten free food.nI had the chilli con carne.nIt was better than I expected.nStaff were friendly.
Soft play is absolutely manky. Colorful mats are black with ground in dirt, Easily accessible areas full of caked on dust and grime, No plans on returning with the kids anytime soon, On the plus side, Food was quick but how hard is it to fry chips?
