Very good Cineworld. The biggest draw is the price. £5.50 is good value but the reason it’s cheaper than other locations is because they don’t offer any fancy screens like IMAX and don’t offer recliner seats. I would say the seats are acceptable but you can tell they’ve been there for a long time and if you’re planning on watching a film that’s over 2 hours then you might get uncomfortable. Location is great and the shopping centre has some good restaurants to get a meal beforehand. Staff were really friendly and as with all cineworlds the food provided is extortionate but tasty, especially the popcorn. Screen and sound was very good with a large room that has a lot more seats than some other locations. Overall it’s definitely worth visiting for the great value tickets, just don’t expect luxury seats or a wall to wall screen.
The member of staff at this branch are extremely rude. Worst cinema experience i’ve ever encountered. I was speaking to a member of staff asking for clarity on the refund and food policy when another member of staff said i am not allowed to speak to him that i can only speak to her.nnWe later took the food into the car. However, upon our return the site manager asked us to leave without giving us a refund for the ticket we purchased, rather than to settle the issue he escalated it further. I would certainly be filing a formal complaint to the head office about the staff behaviour at this branch.
I would like to share an appalling experience me and my friend at Cineworld forge today. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with blatant disrespect and hostility for no reason other than the colour of our skin.nnOur evening, which was meant to be enjoyable, quickly turned into a nightmare. We were subjected to verbal harassment by a staff member who spoke to us in an extremely rude and condescending manner. When my friend attempted to address the situation with another staff member, he was shunned and told he was not allowed to speak to anyone else except her. This directive was not only unreasonable but also felt like an intentional effort to isolate and intimidate us.nnThe situation escalated further when the manager intervened. Instead of addressing our concerns or attempting to understand the situation, the manager unjustly kicked us out of the cinema. We were given no valid reason for this action other than the fact that we are black. This discriminatory treatment was not only humiliating and hurtful but also left us feeling deeply disrespected and unwelcome.nnTo add to the insult, the manager's tone and demeanour were dismissive and aggressive, exacerbating an already distressing situation. We were left standing outside the cinema, bewildered and hurt, having been denied the simple pleasure of watching a film.nnThis experience has left us appalled and extremely disappointed with Cineworld. It is shocking that in this day and age, such blatant racism and discrimination still occur, especially in a public place that should be a welcoming environment for all.
Staff were lovely. Definitely better now it's been re-done and the price is far better than it was previously.nHad a good visit.
Great big hall screen 1 which is all you can ask for. Clean and tidy. Added bonus of the Forge having a good choice of eateries.
