Lovely little museum with friendly staff. Really fascinating to see the water wheel actually working the equipment. They've also got a proper for going in the winter. Make sure you pick some of the wild raspberries which have escaped from the allotments in the autumn.

Situated on Porter Brook in Whitely Woods, Shepherd Wheel is a historic watermill and part of the Sheffield heritage museums. Open and active only on weekends and Bank Holidays, the old building courtyard and wheel is fenced off from the path.
