Pleasant stay at the shellbrook nice clean room good breakfast very friendly and helpful staff.. My only little niggle is that there are no tissues in the room and the tea tray is very basic no herbal teas which nowadays is expected.

We had a reasonably nice stay at the Shellbrooke. Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The shower was a little lacking, not very powerful and hard to get the temp right without a lot of fiddling. I can't comment on breakfast as we were lazy and didn't get up in time but we did have a drink in the bar before going out for the evening. It was a little awkward as it was locked up unless someone wanted a drink and slightly pricey. The views were beautiful and the owners were very friendly. The one thing that did annoy me slightly was check out was 10:30 but our door was knocked on 3 times between 9:50 and 10:15 for room cleaning. Im not usually too fussy as I have worked in hotels before but I really felt like we were being pushed out unnecessarily early. Otherwise great hotel for short stay.
