Quite honestly awful awful foodnI had a steak pie and chips and it was such low qualitynI took the top off as I was shocked how bad it was, and the 'steak' in the pie was horrendousnnThe pastry was raw toonnVery strange place with an odd atmosphere and very strange servicennI'd avoid in all honesty. I recently stayed at the Marine Bar Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations. All the staff were friendly and welcoming upon arrival at the bar.nnThe room I had was comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities you’d expect. The flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi were a nice touch. Stunning sea views from my room, which were a perfect way to wake up in the morning!nnThe on-site restaurant in the bar area was great. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts and meals at reasonable prices.nThe bar also offers an impressive selection of drinks, and you are able to enjoy them with seating inside and out.nnThe Bar Hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Hunstanton, which makes it easy to walk to the different tourist spots and local attractions.nnIf you’re arriving by car, the bar hotel has a car parking area on the side that is free to use for guests, which is a massive bonus.nnI highly recommend the Marine Bar Hotel for anyone visiting Hunstanton. It’s a great place to stay, with great service and great food and drink.nnI’ll definitely be back.
My wife and i have tried many of the dishes here. Always good portions and so very delicious. Well done to the chef and kitchen staff.
Popped in on our first day in Hunstanton. The bar was full! Lovely to see. Lots of dogs. We didn't eat but the menu looks great: mussels; steak and kidney pudding! Alcohol free beer choice for me and a roaring fire. Also a great collection of pub/bar accessories.
We only visit Hunstanton occasionally, but have dined at the Mariner Bar a few times and have always found it to serve delicious, superbly presented and reasonably priced food, with fine service and a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent establishment all round!
