Clay Oven Lounge

Went for a large function with about 350 guests. Good seating arrangement. Excellent menu with range of veg and non-veg starters and mains. Desserts were good as well. There was one table for vegan dishes. Second servings brought out on request. Small stage and good sized dance floor. Beautiful floral background near the entrance; many guests used the backdrop for family and group photos. My son cut himself accidently and the manager quickly provided plasters from a first aid kit.

We had our community Diwali function at this venue. We had a total of 340 guests and the venue management worked closely with us to ensure everything went smoothly. The food was really great and all the guests gave rave reviews Thanks once again to Clay Oven for making our event a big success. We will be there again soon

Excellent venue, had attended my sister's 60 birthday and Mauritius republic day dinner and dance. I thoroughly enjoyed the venue, nice table set up, dance floor, bar for drinks and the food was delicious. Had parking arrangements, no need to pay. I enjoyed the live music by Veda, DJ and the Mauritian dancers. Danced till 01:00 till the music stopped, felt terrible starting work at 06:00, couldn't keep my eyes open and didn't have any energy. If you attend late finish parties, good to have a day off the next day or a late shift so that you have enough sleep.

Was at Christmas buffet for the first within asain communities. It was well organised and food was excellent and the service was good. Could be improved. We arrived there a bit early, hungry there was not snack in before hand so we have to buy from outside brought it in. Overall I did the enjoy the night with good music.

Really dated venue. Was there for a function. They only filled dishes half way. When asked why that was, they said it is 'policy'; confusing! Had to ask everytime to have the dish refilled, really annoying. As I said, decor was really 80s. Security was good, although the dedicated car park had a group of guys drinking and making noise in the evening, so not very secure.

Very good food and the venues events are well run.

Great venue and location. Private road with security manning the road and parking. Nice access to rooms and a nice venue to hire with lots of space. The food is really good too and tasty

Worst staff & food experience. Food was no doubt good but cold. Our réception party was organized here, starters served was really cold at the head table, they didn’t even bother to heat it, plus all the payment was done before the party & on the day the manager was so overdrunk & behaved weirdly & kept on asking for more money infront of guests for no reason. We had also cut the wedding cake worth 500 pounds and the staff didn’t even serve it & kept it with them only. Also the main course served on the head table was cold too.

Overly crowded for a christmas party. Music was horrendously loud. Smoke machine was bad. Great dancers performed. Food was not that good.

Food was absolutely amazing ... staff were very capable and freindly had a great night out and would highly recomend
