Great facilities, great staff, fantastic equipment. Leila has to be one of the best Pilates instructor's in the North East (if not the best) who not only motivates and encourages you but has a fantastic understanding of what you are trying to achieve.

Absolutely brilliant place in my opinion! Leila is a superb instructor and exceedingly knowledgeable. I have been a member for just over twelve months and at the time of joining was one step away from a total hip replacement (no pun intended) ....her advice and application of Pilates system is superb. Needless to say my core strength and posture has improved and no new hip required in the near future. All her instructors for all of the classes and PT 1:1's are brilliant too and totally dedicated to each individual. The equipment is well maintained and of a high quality in all studios. Whatever your aim and goal these highly trained people can help you achieve and see results in a friendly and relaxed environment.

I had booked into my first class at Shaping Futures for a Saturday morning. I called on Saturday morning prior to the session starting to let them know that I wouldn't be able to make it. The lady on the phone informed me that whilst it wasn't company policy, as this would have been my first session, she would reschedule my class for today (Wednesday) as I had already paid for it. Had this not been possible and had I been informed that she could not rebook me due to policy that would have been understandable and I would have paid for the next booking. However, given that I was told I had been rebooked, I turned up to the class and was promptly turned away. The classes may have been enjoyable however they clearly don't have a grip on customer service. I will not be returning.

The tutors & staff at shaping futures are really helpful . I would recommend shaping futures to anyone as they have really helped me with my back problem & they have been very good all the way through this last year with me . It is also a very enjoyable place to go as everybody are very helpful & friendly .

Shapingfutures is without doubt the most amazing friendly professional gym in the north east of England and to be honest further afield. The best reformer/ pilates sessions you will ever find with highly qualified instructors in classes such as yoga/ core work/ weights spin and many more programmes. Leila the owner has hand picked her team to give the best quality to her members. The whole ambience of this gym gives you that more approachable friendly but yet professional service most gyms fail to deliver.
