PACE at the Radisson Blu Hotel is a modern and stylish private health club based in Durham. Members are able to enjoy a fully equipped modern gym as well as a 15m swimming pool.

As well as a modern gym & 15m pool, at PACE we have a Jacuzzi, Steam Room, Sauna and relaxation area, as well as having Lime House Spa located within our facility.

A range of rolling monthly and annual memberships are available, including full single & joint peak, single & joint off peak, children's membership, swim only, corporate & student.

Joining on an annual membership gives you 12 months membership for the price of 10!

All memberships come with a range of discounts & benefits throughout the hotel, including 25% in the bar & free car parking!

The WORST customer experience I have EVER received in my life time. Avoid at ALL COSTS - signed up to Pace Health club at the start of the year, and proceeded to cancel my membership before returning home for summer. Came back to uni to find out that, randomly, in October they started taking money out of my account. They took 80£ in total, and while trying to call them up, not one of them called me back. I had to call every day, and finally they said they didn’t know what was happening but they would disable anything to do with my account. The VERY NEXT DAY, another 40£ came out. Disgusting. I am now £120 down with this club, and they have been awful in providing any form of refund. I have been dealing with this for 2 months and have had no progress so far. I have been given false promises and I feel as if I’m not being taken seriously as a student. How a chain company can sleep well at night, stealing £120 from a student and longing out the refund process is beyond me. Still patiently waiting for any responses back that are different to “we are working on it.” When are the club going to rectify this? AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

After working for the health club for over 3 years during the covid period I decided to have a career change and move on from Pace Health Club. After 2 years of being left I have been denied a membership due to being ex employee. During my time there I not only had to get a member of the public out the pool and give them CPR to save their life but I also got made to stay quiet about it!!!  Baffled as to why after 2 years of being left I can’t now join as a member of the health club! shame on you

Overall this Pace health club is of a good standard. They have a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gym and 15m swimming pool. In general the place is clean, although the odd time you go there can be plastic cups everywhere due to people not using the bins. You can have a relaxing time. They often have spa packages available at affordable prices. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. I would say this place is worth a visit.

Best Gym in Durham albeit a bit small. Parking included in membership. Changing rooms bit old and tired - could do with renovating.

We only used the pool and sauna area,  but they were clean and peaceful.. my only criticism would be the open changing room.. not private ones.

This was my first time visiting Pace, the facilities were great, loved the pool and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

Great swimming pool,  great sports staff, shame about the changing room  male. Shower cubicle was removed over a month ago, one tap has run for over a year and one shower only runs warm. Shame the hotel management don't look at the spa as a priority!

Great swimming venue with friendly and helpful staff. One drawback is that the plumbing in the changing rooms always has some kind of problem whether it's a non-flushing toilet or a stuck tap. Totally out of keeping with the rest of the health club and the hotel it's attached to.

Excellent spa day. Enjoyed the pool, steam room, sauna and massage. Treated with respect and kindness. Building is clean, maintained and comfortable. Ideal relaxation place. Definitely going again.

Showers beside the pool are cold. So many people do not shower prior to entering the pool, which is un-hygienic.  Showers in changing rooms are cold and are never working properly. The changing room is very small and over crowded. So many lockers are either broken or locked and the key removed.
