Suuuper friendly staff with some impressive accolades behind the bar. It's a nicely decorated, not over the top, interior and also very clean! The pickle tray and poppadoms were great, all of the sauces combined really complimented one other, including the lime and chilli pickle which I don't usually like!. The Mixed Starter was very tasty! Finished off with a Chicken Tikka Madras, Mushroom Rice and Kheema Nan. The sauce perhaps could have been reduced a little more and chicken cooked a little less, but regardless it was all delicious! You know you have a good rice also when you can eat it on its own without being too bland! So well done overall and a fine takeout experience from "The Best Indian in Wales" ps apologies for poor attempt at presentation ‍
Shampan Indian in Cowbridge is a great place to enjoy a curry. Always busy you can ring your order in and collect it. Ring your order in and choose delivery, but if you live in the area a lovely place to sit down and enjoy the eating experience in the restaurant. I loved it and have been back. Try it for yourself you will not be disappointed.
Visited here this evening. Ordered food. Chips were not very nice funny colour . Rice naan and curries all were very nice . Staff not most pleasant bunch .

Indian restaurant offering set meal options as well as menu choices. Very well decorated and clean throughout. Service was excellent and the food presented well with great taste and quality. We took the set lunch option which was more than enough to satisfy our hunger. Well worth a visit.
Contrary to previous reports we had a great meal and brilliant service I had the Lamb Dupiaza and Keema rice it was delicious.
Have enjoyed Indian food for over 40yrs. This was the worst Indian meal I have ever had. Truly dreadful takeaway food.
Awful food! Used to be good a long time ago.. The food lacks flavour and effort.. Really disappointing.. Complete waste of money!
Had a take out meal very disappointed sauces were all very watery very little taste. The mix start was very grease again little taste or spice. Would not recommend at all, would recommend a tesco Indian meal deal instead
Me and my friend had the chicken korma seemed way to milky no real flavour, the nann bread was awful Won’t be ordering again
