Had the set lunch today which was reasonably priced at £19.nExtra side dishes were printed on the menu.nWe both had delicious garlic mushrooms. This was followed by perfectly cooked lamb. Service was excellent. Lovely atmosphere.
Went for a birthday dinner with an Irish contingent family. Layla our server was amazing, thoughtful, joined in with the craic and provided a fantastic customer service catering for our every need. Hope our tip is shared with her her shift ended towards the end of our day. The rest of the staff also fantastic but didn't get any names. Would recommend and return!

My husband and I had our wedding reception here & it was just perfect, the moment we arrived for our first viewing we knew we wanted the bear hotel as our venue, They kept in touch with us regularly & were always on hand to answer any questions we had, the day before our reception we took up all our decor and were told they would set up for us so we didnt need to do a thing! The room looked utterly beautiful Kluadia looked after us through our most of our journey and she was absolutely incredible! The team on the night were also absolutely incredible and we couldn't have asked for anything more! Outstanding from start to finish, thank you so much to all the team at the bear for making our wedding so special
My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at the Bear Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, full of history and centrally located to all the places you wish to walk to in Cowbridge. Over the 11 days we interacted with so many staff members and each one was knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. The dining facilities are very good, as was the food. We would definitely stay here again.
