We stayed here for 1 night and it was amazing. The room was very clean and warm. The staff make the place though. Every member of staff we interacted with were very welcoming and kind. They can't do enough for you. Would highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is wonderful. The room was spotless, comfortable and warm. All staff were so lovely and welcoming, they really make it a great place to stay. Dinner and breakfast were great. I highly recommend a stay here!

We came here for a Christmas event, the venue as ever was great and the alcohol prices were alright. However, we paid £30 for a 2 course meal and it was very very poor. I'm not a fussy person and I never really complain about food often. The desert was disgusting. Nobody on our table (9 people) finished theirs and the main course was poor. Of course I'll come back again but probably not to have food

Remember it is an old historic building so expect uneven floors, no lift and lots of stairs. Good staff and service. Ok breakfast, in all a pleasant stay. .

I had a great time whilst staying here for a wedding! The food was amazing, and the nooks and crannies were magnificent. Very nostalgic place whilst the staff were looking after your every need. Would like to return again for a quiet meal. I couldn't recommend this place enough.
