Disappointed. This was our first visit here with friends, who come regularly. They even asked at the end of the meal was it a new chef as they order the same dish every time and this time they were not the same. The service and atmosphere is very good, but the food left a lot to be desired. I had the mixed starter it came out cold the seek kebab was like rubber and the Samosa was just soaked in oil and grease. The main courses came my wife ordered the half tandoori chicken with a sauce £18 it came out with 2 legs, the waiter asked how the food was. I explained we did not get half a chicken, but 2 legs he apologised and asked if I wanted a breast to take home. Our friends main dish was very watery and they gave them the same dish to take home. I then went to pay, I again explained that the main course was not way I ordered and showed him the picture. He basically said well you wife ate it. Not good attitude. So unfortunately will not be going again. We may have just been unlucky, but at £130 we will not be taking the chance again.
Always consistently a high standard of good food and service. We were a large party of 19 but they effortlessly provided excellent dishes and starters with ease. Without a doubt one of the best Indian restaurants in the North west.Food: 5/5
This was my first visit and must admit, from the start all the way to the end, service was over and above 5 stars. Staff was always available at your disposal, but not too much in your face either. Food was spectacular, just the right portions and we are heavy eaters. We had starters, recommend sheek starter, medium spice and mix kebab. Price was just right for a good ambiance night out Bathroom was very clean. Good background music too.
Really tasty Indian food. Had poppadoms to start with, good selection of dips, and then had prawn rogan Josh, garlic naan, lamb saag, and mushroom rice. Was all really good quality. The only thing I’d say is the food is a bit oily, the garlic naan was swimming in what I think is ghee, but otherwise was great!
Great food, good atmosphere, excellent service and the prices aren't too bad compared to many restaurants these days. We visit regularly it's a nice treat.
A light clean spacious restaurant. Service was spot on,food was excellent. Not the cheapest but well worth the money. I'll be going again Probably the best Indian restaurant I've been to in a long timeFood: 5/5
Great food as always, a local favourite. Service slightly disappointing the last time we went. Booked for 5:30 because we had a child and wanted him to eat on time, but it looked like they were making all the takeaways before our food, so we ended up waiting over an hour for our mains after our starters. Not enough to not give it five stars, but worth the restaurant thinking about.
The Cobra was flat and too warm, the Kingfisher was slightly cooler but didn't taste great. I could not begin to list the shortcomings of the staff otherwise I would be typing all day. The ingredients in the majority of the dishes that we sampled were poor. Some items are misrepresented on the menu. We were truly amazed by how busy this restaurant was, can only be due to lack of choice in the area. The only reason for two stars instead of one is because the man in charge finally made an apology and then a gesture to our bill. Would not recommend or return. A lovely Indian restaurant my family and I visited yesterday. It's got adequate parking in the compound. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience on entry, with a nice dining set up. There's a good number of meal options on the menu which are easy to understand and are affordable. Our meal was well done , really tasty,and we enjoyed it. The staff are incredible and pleasant, they check up on you to be sure everything is going on well with your meal or if you need anything else. We will definitely be visiting again and i highly recommend this restaurant. Parking: There's an allocated parking lot.
Great menu and really nicely cooked but could use a bit less oil and ghee for my taste, without compromising flavour. Definitely go again but will ask for less of both! Place was absolutely rammed on a Saturday evening so very popular. Staff were all bang on.Food: 4/5
