My go to and only fried chicken sandwich place for the past 4 years. I've tried tons of places but nothing has even come close to birdies Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The price is also some of the most reasonable in the city for such a great sandwich. Can't be beat. You won't be disappointed.Food: 5/5
Birdies Fried Chicken has been consistently delicious every time we’ve ordered from them! They have definitely become one of our go-to lunch and dinner spots for takeout. Their chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside, and tender and moist on the inside. The food is always piping hot and the truck sauce their secret, signature sauce is one of the best pairings for fried chicken anywhere! My go-to order is either the 3 or 5-Piece OG Friend Chicken, with their truck sauce to dip. I also loved their cheese fries; the cheese was plain melty and gooey goodness. I highly recommend Birdies if you’re looking for delicious fried chicken! They are a fantastic local business and the staff are always friendly!
I stopped writing reviews now until I've been to a place at least 3 times. This place is not only consistent, but the price is great, and while their locale has limited parking, I've asked them almost every time if they could bring the food to the car in front of the shop and they do it every time without hesitation, and a smile. Not to mention the prices are so reasonable. I alternate between the Nashville hot and the OG fired chicken sandwich. I now go nowhere else for my fried chicken fix. I just wish they opened later than 8 pm, but I suspect there might be some good reason that I'll let pass for the amazing price.
The Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich is what you'll drool over. The og is alright, but i love me some spice. This was my first, but it definitely will not be my last time. Next time, it's Bites & Poutine.Food: 5/5
I had heard amazing things about this chicken sandwich from a spot in the East end called Birdies, that used to also be a truck. I finally had it today and it lived up to its reputation. Chicken was crispy without excess breading, the Nashville hot chicken was delicious. The original was just as good and the fries are like chip truck fries. Loved the friendly staff too, super lovely people! Will definitely be back!
It has been a long, long, long time since I felt close to full by eating one single sandwich. Extremely tasty, very large chicken portion with a delicious meat-to-batter ratio. And in a new world where famous fast food chains will sell you a 5 bite burger for 9 bucks, this is a solid meal, high-stacked circus of deliciousness for a dollar more. Eat here before it gets famous and bought out for billions.
Small location right beside a dollar tree. Went when there was also a taste of South Asia festival. The place looks very modern and the staff were friendly. Ordered a $10 Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The chicken was fairly plump with pickles and their homemade sauce on top. The chicken itself is not spicy 2/10 on the Asian spicy scale and feels more of a numbness to it. The reason why it got 4* is because the outside of the bag was sauced up.
I would say best burger in whole Toronto, they have all options mild spicy extra hot their fries are very tasty I choose Nashville hot fries. I highly recommend this place. this was my 2nd time within 2 weeks, The Nashville Hot Fried chicken sandwich is out of this world. Now this spot will be my regular one. Parking: There are parking in front of the location Kid-friendliness: The staff are very friendly place is very neat. Wheelchair accessibility: yes their is access to wheel chair accessibility.
The reviews and the pictures looked amazing and I love Hot Chicken. Spice Level was great. Chicken was Juicy. I personally would’ve liked a bit more crunch. But it was delicious.
To say this is the best chicken sandwich in all of Toronto is a bold statement but someone has to do it…. THE BEST!! Nashville hot chicken had the perfect level of hotness/spice. You get a huge piece of chicken that has a nice crunch. I can’t wait to return and try other items on the menu
