An exquisite bridal shop with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I visited Shade Bridal in August 2017 to look for wedding dresses with my sister and mum. It was the second shop I had visited but the first time my Mum had come with me, obviously a very special occasion. Jessica was completely brilliant; at this early stage I wasn't sure what look I was going for and went in with an open mind. Jessica listened and took the time to understand me, my personality, my job (a classical singer who wears long gowns on a regular basis). She quickly grasped my vision and style without being pushy or doing the 'big sell' - something I really dislike and have experienced in a number of other bridal shops. The shop is perfectly located in West Bridgford. Being a First Floor shop, it offered us the privacy and space that street-level shops often don't. Jessica's expertise and guidance was invaluable and our visit to Shade Bridal was a special experience. I was sad in the end not to find the 'One' at Shade Bridal but I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the shop to other Brides. Thank you Jessica!

The gowns at Shade Bridal were all beautiful and the service was second to none. I had the exciting task of finding a dress that would match a very special family heirloom – a 1935 vintage Nottingham lace veil worn by four generations of women in my family. Jess was very knowledgeable and helped me to pick out a dress which complemented the veil perfectly and that was also within my budget. I would highly recommend a visit to Shade.

Just picked up the dress this morning - wow! Jessica and Natalie were generous, patient and professional throughout and made the whole process a beautiful shared experience for my daughter and I.
