I am disgusted at this service , I called 111 for my 91 year old mother with a temputure of 39.4 !!!! who may I say were amazing gave a video call and requested a GP come to see my very sick mum . 45min - 1 hour later a doctor if that is what he would call himself !!! rang me back to say he was not coming he felt she did not require a doctor or antibiotics and see how she would be feeling by morning !! After been told by 111 best she be seen and antibiotics started rather then my 91 year old mother become any worse who ever he was I will be making a formal complaint for sure … he also said in our conversation that people above him would be watching over his shoulder and that was another reason he would not come … Really is that how a so called GP on night call for emergency talks to patients thank god I am here and I will watch over my sick mum until I can contact her own GO in morning …. Total disgrace and if my mum does get any worse I will hold that Gp to account furious is an understatement !!!!!!!!!
From the moment we stepped into Seldoc Healthcare, we were met with professionalism and compassion, but it was Dr. A.M Campion's exceptional care that truly stood out. Having navigated the complex health concerns of our 4-month-old son with much anxiety, finding Dr. Campion was a turning point for us. It was clear from his recommendations that this should have been the course of action from the very beginning. Since starting the medication, we have witnessed a significant improvement in our son's health. We are deeply grateful to Dr. A.M Campion and the Seldoc Healthcare team for their unwavering support and care.
Really appreciate being able to see a GP at the weekend as all the appointments were gone on Friday morning. The new health facility is pretty awesome, really well designed: I feel relaxed when I know I'll be attending. There are signposts to guide you to where you need to be. Also, the stress of finding parking is relieved as there is parking for patients. Thank you so much for providing the health services that you do.
Shocked to be suggested to call a GP and take paracetamol until Monday, after explaining I am not able to walk because my foot is swollen still for unknown reasons. How can you assess someone without seeing them in person? Answered to a bunch of standard question and been asked to send a pic. That's how taking care of someone works. On top of that I wasn't even been given a chance to explain circumstances or medical history. Congratulations, Really. That's where my taxes go.
Brilliant service from start to finish and feel very fortunate to have access to such a service out of hours, especially when I know I wouldn’t get a look in at my GP if I called during the week. I dealt with three separate members of staff on the phone and in person and they were all fantastic; personable, informative and supportive. My concerns were with my baby daughter and I really valued the fact we were given an appointment to come In for rather than have to just sit and wait late in to the evening for a walk in. Thank you Seldoc!
Waste of time. Has been sent here from 111 due to suspected kidney infection. Waited for an hour during which I noticed people who arrived 30 mins later than me for the same appointment time were all called in after a short wait . When I asked at the reception they told me I have another hour wait. Appaling service I had my kids with me one of whom is disabled. Better off to go to a&e
Called 111 at 6pm. Had appointment with absolutely brilliant doctor at a nearby hospital by 7pm I wish I could remember her name as she deserves enormous praise for her patience, manner and kindness. I am almost 50 years old and contracted Crohn's disease when I was 12 so have an awful lot of experience with GPs/hospitals/surgeries and this was one of the best to my memory. It made me quite emotional to be treated so well in a system that is suffering from such obvious underfunding. I have nothing but praise and thanks for all the people who dealt with on this occasion.
Very grateful to be seen so quickly after calling 111. Managed to get my meds that same night and feel a lot better. Because I hadn't signed up for a new doctor since moving I was too afraid of the hassle of doing so, but this emergency service really gave me faith in the efficiency of the NHS. Thank you.
Would give 0 stars if I could. The 111 service worked great, got me an appointment for next day at the weekend at Seldoc. I had white lumps on my tonsils, clearly bacterial tonsillitis, a simple course of antibiotics required. Arrived for my appointment and was checked by the doctor. To my amazement, after checking the back of my throat with a torch he concluded I had no white lumps and gave me the old 'take paracetamol' advice. I was actually shocked. I'm used to doctors saying my issue isn't serious/nothing to worry about but to straight up say there's nothing there?! I thought I was going crazy. I asked him to check again, he did and was adament there were no white lumps. I didn't know what else to say. I finished the useless consultation and immediately went to the bathroom across the hall. I looked in the mirror and used my torch to look at the back of my throat, clearly white lumps. I asked the receptionist to see another doctor, she informed me this wouldn't be possible. I ended up having to make the trip to king's college hospital A+E. I went the same day, only a few hours after my doctors appointment. I was initially assessed by a nurse who took one look at the back of my throat, diagnosed tonsillitis and referred me to the king's walk in GP. This GP then confirmed tonsillitis and prescribed me the necessary antibiotics. This was genuinely the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor, if this guy was even qualified to be one?! If 111 have referred you here for an appointment, I'd strongly advise asking for somewhere else.
Absolutely brilliant service. The last thing what you need on the Bank Holiday weekend to seek medical help from NHS 111. They booked an appoinment for us at nearby hospital where we met a very nice and helpful GP who saw us straight when we arrived. We left with a prescription and also he directed us to the nearest late night pharmacy. Thank you.
