Busy. huge hospital. Most of the specialists from London work here.nnThe hospital is spread across multiple buildings down both sides of the street.nnIt dominates the area, infrastructure, of every kind, vehicles staff, police are everywhere inside and outside of the buildings.nnIt's akin to a small village.
I was very impressed with the high standard of care and efficiency and speed I received at King's College Hospital. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March, had a few biopsies in March/April, and date for surgery in May. Then radiotherapy in July at Guy's. How quick was that! Amazing! All appointments were kept, including my pre-op assessment. Everything for me went very smoothly. I felt all the receptionists, nurses and doctors I had contact with were caring, friendly and comforting. Thank you very much!
Fri 12th July '2024: It's been 12yrs since I last came to this hospital to visit someone, which was my Nan. #ripnnThis is a great hospital, helpful staff and easy to get too!
Had a good A&E experience here after being brought by an ambulance. I was seen within 20 minutes of arriving and the doctors requested an MRI and blood tests which was done promptly. Very grateful to the staff. As others mentioned, this hospital has a major trauma unit.
