Did the Stranger Things Secret Cinema and it was easily the most fun I've had in a long time. Superb production value, amazing sets and fantastic actors. Far far exceeded my expectations. Literally can't recommend it highly enough
HAWKINS WAS INCREDIBLE. I got so involved and definitely took on my Hawkins reunion character, Thomas Fields. Throw yourself into the experience and interact with all the people around you. We were told of secret missions, hidden tunnels and doorways leading to bunkers! My American accent was out in force. Loved it so much. And that finale
Stranger Things Secret Cinema was a fantastic experience. Got there at 1800 and queued for five minutes or so, admiring everyone's 80s outfits. You have to put your phones in sealed pouches that can't be opened until the end, which is a great idea as it was nice not to have everyone inside filming and taking pictures. The set was really cool - a very detailed recreation of Starcourt Mall and several other areas from the series. When you get in you'll find your class rep who assigns you a challenge. I'd say don't get too fixated on an individual quest. We got a bit stuck with ours and were at a bit of a loose end for a while, but followed some different characters around instead and got to be part of some cool scenes. We went on a Friday night and it was obviously busy, but I don't think it was massively overcrowded. Later on there were queues to do some of the actions, but as we were among the first there at 1800 we got to do things/speak to characters without waiting. It did get pretty warm inside so maybe leave your jacket in the lockers. It's £8-9 for a burger, £4 for fries, £5 for a small can of Red Stripe or glass of wine. Not cheap but it's about the prices I was expecting. All the actors were fantastic and the finale was very well done. If I were a richer man I'd like to go again.
The latest Stranger Things experience was absolutely great! Very well organised, actors were very engaging, friendly and entertaining. Thank you, we'll be back for the next one.
I've been going to Secret Cinema events since they did Back to the Future in 2014, and it's not an exaggeration to say that many of my best lifetime memories come from these shows. I've been a rebel pilot in the Star Wars universe, sung my heart out in 1899 Paris with Moulin Rouge, eaten noodles under acid rain in future Los Angeles in Blade Runner, watched the DeLorean time machine race around Hill Valley with Back to the Future, lived out my 80s dreams with Stranger Things and many, many more. You become PART of that universe.. and it's simply mind blowing. Even now during Covid19 lockdown times they're finding ways to keep us entertained and part of the story with their Secret Sofa and Drive In events. The feeling of coming out of an event and saying "that was the best thing I've ever done in my life" is not something that should come around very often... yet they seem to do it each and every year. I will always be a lifetime fan, and love them for the memories they give us.
Most immersive and engaging experience I have ever been to!!! If you are a fan of Stranger Things this will bring the series to life in a way you cannot imagine. Theming is at a Disney World level with a touch of Universal Halloween Horror Nights in the middle of London. Travel back in time to the 4th July 1985, visit Starcourt Mall and explore the untold story of Hawkins. Ends 1st March!!!
Two really positive experiences at Stranger Things! The amount of thought, time and effort put into the location and stories interwoven within the experience were fantastic. All the actors are outstanding! For me, as someone who has an issue with their spine, the access people were extremely helpful and having a place to sit was a godsend. Thanks for making this such an amazing event!
Excellent customer service. They were very accommodating and quick to respond. I am very happy my date was changed and I still get to see the show! We have been to a show previously and were amazed by it! Definitely an experience not worth missing :-
The stranger things event was one of the most amazing, stunning, captivating, immersive and emotional events I’ve ever been to. On top of that the staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing evening. The actors were fantastic and really played their parts as if it were straight off of the screen! Every set is atmospheric to perfection, the food amazing, the storyline cryptic but solveable. Thank you so much for creating this world and a very tremendous evening!
I've been getting help from Frankie to change our tickets that were unfortunately cancelled due to the current situation and she has been so helpful and accommodating the whole time. Great service and highly recommend going to a secret cinema event!
