The BFI IMAX is a state-of-the-art, large-format cinema on London's South Bank.

Story

Watching a film at the BFI IMAX is completely immersive. Our screen is more than 20 metres high (that's nearly the height of five double-decker buses) and 26 metres wide. With 11,600-watts of digital surround-sound and the most sophisticated motion-picture projection system in the world, you will literally feel like you are in the picture.

Felt safe which is important during these times. This is a flagship cinema and the only place to see Tenet the way it was meant to be seen. If you want to remind yourself of a proper pre lock down cinema experience, BFI Odeon is the place to go - a true stronghold of the movie industry.
Excellent organisation and coordinated effort to open up the cinema during COVID19 pandemic. Safe space between each group, hand sanitisation and drying stations at entry and exit by row post credits. Oh and do watch Tenet at the IMAX. Superb movie
I saw TENET here on IMAX 70MM. Absolutely loved it. This place is heaven for people like me who loves sound in a movie. This cinemas takes it to next level. So many speakers!!! The atmosphere is on point, social distancing is followed. I would visit here evertimes I wanna see a movie on IMAX. Especially NOLAN's film.
Went to watch Tenet this year and Interstellar a couple of years ago. This cinema is expensive but there is nothing quite like it. There are some films that are best viewed on the biggest screen and there is no bigger screen in London than this. If you love movies you must try the IMAX at least once.
Always love coming here to see some great movies. You really do get engrossed in watching a film and can leave you with some amazing memories with friends or family ^_^
I think I should start by saying that it is safe for these times. Costa is closed and you can't have any beer. Everything else is still there for you. Big screen good surrounding
