A great little cafe on the edge of the bay at borth-y-gest. The cake selection was varied and delicious. The food was superb. The cafe is only a 10 minute walk out of porthmadog and is defiantly worth a visit. A great place to grab a tea and cake and just sit and look at the marvellous vista looking over the estuary.

Came with two young children (1 & 6) and my wife for lunch. Food was nice and fresh, and portions were decent. The view was very pleasant too. The one negative was that we asked for a scrambled egg for the baby, but were told they were unable to do that as scrambled egg was on the breakfast menu and it was lunchtime. I tried pushing the point that baby couldn't eat much else on the menu, but got the same answer. How hard is it to scramble an egg? It could have been an easy win for customer service!
