I used to go here when I was little to buy sweets. But these days it’s a dirty old place with unfriendly staff and gone off products. Would highly recommend you avoid the place and find another post office even if it’s further away.

I have been today to that post office and it was the dirtiest post office that i have ever seen in England the window is covered in dust i couldn't even see the person in the back, the door was covered in dirty hand marks. he took so long what he was Doing the old lady standing behind me look like she was going to collapse And he still did it wrong what he was doing! I don't recommend anyone to go there Until they clean the place! I can't believe the locals have not said anything or something And it doesn't look like a run down area so I can't understand why the post office is the way it is!?!?!?!

Maybe it's to provide comical value but hearing words muttered by the counter guy - "getting so many parcels, it's getting ****** ridiculous" can't help but reply - it's near Christmas and this is a post office right? - lighten up, be happy. It's a split between 5 stars for comedy and 1 star for the whole experience. Visit here to take in atmosphere if its open and the hand written signage. Google says "plan your visit " I suggest "plan your escape route"

It's not pleasant, when standing in a slow-moving queue, to be faced with top shelf magazines. Either stop selling them, or put them somewhere more discreet. Service not particularly friendly either.
