I have always found the staff at this post office friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Yesterday a staff member went the extra mile and got in touch with me about a delivery. They are often very busy but always make my visit a happy one. Well done.
I am so grateful to the staff in this post office. I cannot believe some of the reviews. Who ever has served me in this post office has always been really helpful and I have never had anyone rude or unhelpful. I was new as an Ebay seller so I was not familiar with the options/ costs/package sizes etc. I wasn't made to feel stupid or a nuisance and they happily explained the options available. We are lucky to have a local post office and I can only thank them for their help and service.
Was served by an extremely rude lady here. She was immediately annoyed when I didn't know to put my box on the scales automatically and kept sighing as she was trying to scan a QR code for my return. At one point snatching the phone from my hand to scan it. I asked if they had any parcel tape so I could quickly seal up the top of the box that had come undone. To which she said annoyed 'It's up to the customer to package their own items if we packaged everyone's items up we'd have no time'. I said 'okay sorry about that no worries' and started walking away. Then she got out of her counter box and physically stopped me and put her hand on the box I was carrying and said 'This is the royal mails property now, do you understand?' and telling me off like a school child, she started talking to me very slowly in a rude tone explaining how now she had scanned the QR code I had to leave the box. She repeated again snapping 'Do you understand that?'. I looked around at everyone else in the post office queue and they looked uncomfortable. It was quite humiliating to be spoken to like that in front of a queue of people. She dropped some parcel tape by the box without saying anything like she was sulking. I can only imagine what would happen if someone handicapped were to encounter this woman. It's no way to speak to anyone who doesn't know exactly what to do.
I found the ladies very helpful, and they saves me money, each time I've been they've been cheerful. Sometimes it's sluggish but at least they are thourgh
This Post Office have saved me from missing important birthdays twice now. Seriously a post office open at 7 am, it use to be 8 am and there is always someone willing to serve you at the Post Office counter at the front of the shop, and inspite of the early hour are always cheerful and helpful. In an era where personal service seems a thing of the past congratulations for going that extra mile. Thank you
Yesterday I had a quick Amazon return and just as I was going in to the Coop the nice Coop lady said the main Post Office is closed but the counter in the shop was open. There was nobody else there apart from one Coop customer. The assistant was just finishing with them and another Coop customer joined the queue and the assistant continued to ignore me and started serving him. I waited and then asked if the Post Office was open and she said "No it closed at 4!". It was 4:04 at that time. I asked how long she would have let me stand there but I didn't get a reply. There are never any signs to say which Post Office counter is operating, or even if the Post Office is open at all. And the actual opening times bear no relation to the opening times shown outside or online. During lockdown they had a sign up outside to say queue outside and wait to be called. Frequently there was a queue of 40 or 50 people up the road as far as you could see. And when you got to the front of the queue you had to wait for 15 minutes to be eventually allowed in to an empty Post Office. I forgot my own advice to never use them again. The Cromwell Road Post Office is consistently an unpleasant place to go because of very patchy service. One or two people are very nice and professional but the overall experience is that they really couldn't care less about you as a customer. I live two minutes walk away and will never use that Post Office again, and for similar reasons I only use the Coop if there is no alternative.
Shop there regularly, staff are always friendly to me and service good. Convenient store as it caters my needs x
Service at this Post Office / Coop can vary. You are either served by a very friendly worker who understands the customer & handles the query efficiently and professionally. Alternatively, you are dealt with by an unhappy person who is having a bad day but has allowed their emotions to interfere with their work. Especially the older workers in store. If you work in a customer facing environment, please consider the customer & ensure you try your best - a smile & friendly greeting would be a good start! Not all customers are rude. Management need to take note and offer adequate customer service training - hopefully your overall score will improve the next time I bring my custom to your store.
I can’t quite put into words how frustrated this post office makes me feel. During every visit, I’m subjected to the most unpleasant sarcasm and rudeness from the ladies who work in here. I’ve seen them do the same to all kinds of people in the queue ahead of me too. I understand working in a post office must be stressful but I’m always very polite and do not deserve to be spoken to the way I always am without fail. So disappointing as it’s the only post office local to me. Please sort the attitudes of these ladies out!
The queues at this post office are incredibly slow. Some times I have been waiting for over 30 minuets. Today I arrived at the coop and was told the post office was closed for a couple hours midday. I return a few hours later. There are at least 30 if not more queuing. Who knows how long it will take today. I would not recommend this post office. However the others are no better.
