We went this weekend with my daughter and her friend for her 6th birthday treat. We paid online with my blue light card beforehand and it was much cheaper than on the door. However saying that it was still quite a bit £50 for what ended up being an hour. They did try and sell us a guide book and trail which seemed a bit pointless.nnThe parking next door car park is expensive but that's to be expected due to the location. The actual centre is clean and the fish look well looked after. The displays are good with a 'sunken lost city', a glass tunnel, penguins, a submarine and our kids favourite the axolotls. Also there is a small section with ants, insects, cockroaches and tree frogs which was good.nnThe kids got a green screen keyring each which was quite steep at £15 for 2 but they wanted them to show off on their school bags! We didn't try the cafe nor the gift shop but they both looked good.nnOverall 4 stars for the size of the centre, time it takes to go around and the cost of entry. We wouldn't visit again, but it was ok for a windy wet Autumn day for one off treat.

Our family had a great morning at Sea Life. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Everything seemed to be clean and in good order. Around the centre the staff had good knowledge of the sea life and were able to give lots of information about different creatures.nWe visited the Costa which was also nice and clean. It is expensive but all of the food and drinks were of great quality. It would be much easier if there were trays available at the start though - I did struggle to carry sandwiches and cold drinks to the counter. Most places would have trays for customers to put things on to carry them to the counter so this did seem odd.nThe toilets and baby changing facilities were very clean and there was staff to direct people to where they needed to go which was very helpful.nWe purchased some photo souvenirs at the end. The staff member was very chatty and made a point of saying hello to our children which was nice.nnWe also managed to park right outside. £8.50 for 4 hours right on the seafront. You do need to download the parking app though - there didn't seem to be any other options.

Great atmosphere and animals, bigger than I thought it would be. Took about an hour to walk through, and although the price is slightly steep for that amount of time thats not unusual for any sealife. Worth a visit at off peak times

Really enjoyed the visit. They fit a lot into a small space. You can't walk with penguins, like at Scarborough, but there is an outside viewing area.nnWe got carried away, and were told it was closing. We had been in 3 hours lol.nnGot a big discount, via Cadburys, so well worth the entry fee.nnWould highly recommend, especially if the weather's not great outside.

Ideal for a wet day, but still good for a sunny day if you enjoy aquariums. They have packed a lot into a small area, but it still feels like one of the smaller Sea Life centres - we were there for just over an hour we didn't appear to be going any faster than other visitors which made it quite an expensive visit.
