Ok place to have a look and get some fish but could do with a better stock of other products for fish as they always seem to run out of stuff

Had a problem with a pond pump I had purchased earlier this year. The lads were extremely helpful. They dismantled it, checked and cleaned it. It appeared to be working okay then but unfortunately once home and back in the pond was still not working. Took it back and was given a replacement. Whenever I visit I have always found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. Can't praise them and their customer service enough.

Bought 7 fish three weeks ago after a few days two of the same spieces died ,my wife checked the water all ok the other fish in the tank are all ok, we bought a new filter,but got the wrong one so went back and bought a new pump and filter,we mentioned the loss of our fish and was told by a knowledgeable man that it could be amoana in the water and the test strips we use do not detect amoana and suggested we take a sample of the water in the shop for them to test,no mention of replacement of the fish we had lost. When we got home more of the same fish had died , I telephoned the shop and a very unfriendly man told me that there would be no refund or replacement of fish, and that there where signs up in the shop saying that you only have two days warranty on all fish you buy ,we never saw this ,but how rediculous is this when we live a 40 mile round trip away from the store, surely we have consumer rights on everything we buy if the product is not fit for purpose, there was no apology or that it could be a bad batch of fish that they had bought in, to sum up to all who buy fish from there either avoid the shop or check your tanks water and take a sample in the shop before you buy any fish as they seem to have a get out clause for most problems. We are extremely unhappy with our experience from Maidenhead aquatics in Wyevale,s in Woodbridge
