Scotstown Moor is a great place for a short walk on a sunny day. The paths are well maintained (though there are a few muddy bits here and there) and the terrain is gentle. You'll likely see several dog walkers and joggers during your visit, as this place is surrounded by residential housing and has a decent car park, making it a popular choice. There are several abandoned structures dotted around, and if you follow the paths up north past the farm and a ruined structure, you will reach an awesome spot with good views to the north. If you head west from the car park and cross the road, you'll find a gate leading to a wooded area and some more paths (though these are not really a part of the nature reserve). Overall, it's a good place if you're planning a short walk (0.5 to 1.5 hours), but those seeking a more adventurous or longer walk will probably want to look elsewhere.

Nice walk around the trees part. The bottom area needs drainage.

Good for a walk, unfortunately the is lots of dog mess in areas, specially in the trees up the top of the hill, a few dog walkers seem to think it's OK to throw the poop scoop bags into the bushes.
